Rented an EV for about 7 hours to visit relatives. Never rented an EV before didn't know how the whole recharge thing worked, she gave me a mapof area charging stations said it would take between 1/2 hour to 1 and 1/2 hours. I didn't have that kind of time to wait for the car to charge so I asked approximately how much it would cost for them to recharge the car she said about $20.00. The car was filthy nasty like someone spit their food all over the center of the steering wheel, and when I got the final bill the rental was $66.00 and recharge was $70.00. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Very disappointing experience. When I arrived, there was no one at the counter, so I had to go outside to another counter where there was a line. The small room I waited in had an unpleasant smell. I was given a car, but after looking it up online, I found it was a size smaller than what I had reserved. When I mentioned this to the staff member, she insisted it was the correct size but couldn’t show proof in their booking system. After further checking on Hertz's website, I confirmed that the car was indeed from a lower class than what I paid for. I went back and requested a supervisor, and only then did she give me the vehicle I had originally reserved. Overall, frustrating experience, and I won't be renting from this location again.

Do NOT ger a rental from this place! Their customer service is horrific. I was sent from one place to the other. The guy that helped me at the end worked for HErtz and didn’t want to help me. Had an attitude and did not listen to my requests. He checked my DL like 5 times and looked at me as if it wasn’t me ( suspiciously). All they had was electric cars. I didn’t want an electric car, since I am driving to Boston today and did not want to have to find charging stations. I had to cancel the reservation since they couldn’t accommodate me with the type of car I needed it. All the other rental places didn’t have cars left. Such a horrible experience!

Boston area was pretty rough, I'm disabled and we had to ask for assistance. I changed our flight to leave from Providence, the attendant there was awesome! 4 stars only because the Providence people are excellent. Oh the car was good, Polestar 2

Horrendous service. Wait time in line inexcusable. Took 10 minutes per person to process. The phone app for skipping the counter is horrible. Everyone in line using the app all got the “car is not ready” message and then one has to wait another 15 minutes for the app to refresh…only to get another “car is not ready” message. The app also takes the customer hostage…there’s a 15 minute countdown but if you go to check texts or emails, the countdown stops until you return. I’m still standing in line! I’m getting a bad feeling that the car is going to suck as well.

We booked through 'dollar', we show up for our car and they're not even open. Just a sign that says see 'hertz' booth for service. We get to hertz and there's two guys inside, with a line wrapped around the parking lot back into the terminal.
Averaging a full 15-20 minutes per customer, it took us over two hours to get our car.
Even though I filled out the pre-pickup forms, verified my license and identity, and uploaded my card inorder to 'skip the line' as advertised, it made no difference. Absolutely still had to wait in the line. Absolute joke

Non-existent customer service, both upon pick up in Providence and drop off in Burlington. Fuel not full upon pick up but no expectation that we not still return it full.
Car was a 2020 Jeep with 63000+ miles, the oldest rental car we've ever had. It had quite a bit of dings and a missing interior panel. This made us nervous about the reliability during our trip, but luckily encountered no issues. Charged over $100 just to go through 3 tolls, worth about $10. Overall horrible value for the money spent. Rent elsewhere if possible.

My wife and I's flight into Providence RI was running behind, we went to Dollar Car rental to pickup our car, Dollar Car rental was closed, no associate what's so ever, Dollar car rental left us stranded at the Airport with no vehicle, our only saving grace Avis had an associate on duty and we rented from them. Thanks for screwing us Dollar

Renting from this company was a mistake. My reservation pick-up time was 7:30pm on a Sunday, I received confirmation and several follow-up messages regarding my reservation stating it was on time. They notified me ver text that it was time to select my car so I could "skip the line," but no car was ready for me... or 10 other customers. I had to wait in line for 1.5 hours to just reach the counter. No option allowing me to cancel my reservation without cost to me even though the company overbooked itself. Once paperwork was processed, we had to wait for a rental car to be cleaned and serviced before it could be rented. This added 30 more minutes to the wait time. I should have just gotten an Uber. This has been a shameful experience that I wish I could get my money back for.
Bless the gentleman at the counter having to face exhausted, frustrated travellers.

I am not one to complain but I want to spare someone the time. Absolutely worthless customer service, after spending an hour and half at the desk, 2 trips to get the right vehicle. We are still not in the SUV that we rented. Customer service manager was rude.
