“So, it’s 2 AM and I roll up to this gas station, half awake, half running on fumes (me and the car). The auto pump was broken, so I had to stand there holding the nozzle like it was 1993, wondering if I should be getting paid hourly for this.
My friend wanted a white monster energy drink. (He got 2) I was also disappointed to learn that the men’s bathroom was “out of order” I heard there might have been a gummy snake left in the toilet?? So I did what any desperate man would do. I used the women’s bathroom. It smelt like the guy in the hoodie walking around took a massive one in there. Sorry, ladies, but nature doesn’t care about gender signs.
The highlight of the evening was when I spotted a crab-shaped pen. My buddy almost bought it for me, but then we saw the $7 price tag. SEVEN. For a pen. I don’t know what kind of crustacean markup strategy they’re running, but that crab better pay my bills and do my taxes for that price.
Meanwhile, the employee behind the counter was the most enthusiastic human being I’ve ever met about a gas station loyalty program. He spoke for five minutes straight about the perks, points, and probable immortality benefits of signing up. I felt like I was being recruited for a pyramid scheme, but with gas discounts.
All in all: 10/10 surreal experience, 4/5 stars because I’m still thinking about that crab pen.”

“I wasted a ton of time trying multiple times to register for loyalty rewards and failed. Also, holding the pump handle to dispense gas is so inconvenient. Yet was able at near 8am pre season to gas rv tow truck and didn’t even know until departing the places has a separate rv/truck island .”
“Albert in the deli is THE NICEST and most accommodating worker I have ever met. I have celiacs disease making it difficult to buy from the deli. Albert voluntarily cleaned the entire slicing machine for me to avoid cross contamination. I would never have asked but it was above and beyond. Thank you Albert! They are good people and I feel that I was a little harsh at first because I left a negative comment over some stuff that I had purchased there one night and I thought I was overcharged, I was wrong and I felt bad about leaving the negative comments so I deleted it and wrote this one. I need to be more open to different cultures and the way people do things. I was just short almost $1 for what I needed and that man was nice enough to let me keep my item and simply told me to give him the dollar next time I see him?? Thank you Sir”

“Shout out to store employee (possibly name SHEA ) at shell gas station on ten road road. You deserve a million dollars. I sent my nephew in the store with my card (that was declined) I accidentally gave him the wrong card. He comes out and the guy let him go, (paid for his items). I gathered the only cash I had $10 at the time and made sure to give it to him. His whole entire face lit up and he didn’t want to take it. You could tell he appreciated me coming back into the store to recognize his kind gesture more then he did for the xtra couple of bucks. It’s people like that, that make the world a better place. #payitforward #ilovemycommunityP.s if I ever win the lottery I promise you I’ll be back to give you that million dollars.”
