Moving back to RI, we needed a good mechanic, and after some searching, we were pointed toward Shane’s Auto Truck & Performance. Shane came highly recommended, and from the start, he showed real knowledge and skill in his work.
Before finding Shane, we had taken our car to Slater’s Auto Repair, but unfortunately, that experience was disappointing. After that, we were relieved to find someone like Shane, who seemed more reliable and professional.
While we did run into some unexpected issues with our car later on, we recognize that auto repairs can be complex, and sometimes things don’t go perfectly the first time. Despite the challenges, we appreciate Shane’s effort and expertise, and we’re glad to have found someone with a strong reputation in the area.”
“I always have such an amazing experience at this location. Every time I need assistance Keagan is always there to help. In the past he’s assisted me with a diagnostic report to find out I needed a new CO sensor, helped me pick out windshield wiper fluid as well as guidance with windshield wipers & replaced them for me. And today when I came in looking for new headlight bulbs he walked me through the different types and we watched a video together on how to install them because I was adamant on doing it myself. He told me if I had trouble to come back after 12 and he would assist…. Well, I had trouble and came back and he gladly did it within 5 minutes. “Outstanding Experience! Derek and Tim are absolute professionals. Went in for some preventative maintainence on our Ram's rocker panels and they walked us through every step of the repair. Throughout the repair process they gave us a tour of the shop, explaining what work was being done, they kept in constant communication with us and provided photographs of the repairs as they progressed. Derek arranges all your car rental needs and goes above and beyond for his customers. Derek and Tim are very particular about providing show room quality work and they touched up some minor repairs that weren't quoted at no additional cost. Extremely pleased, would highly recommend Performance for any of your auto body or rust repair needs.”

They did the fix well, worked with my insurance, finished when they said they would, and were able to figure out my car rental situation for me (despite my insurance being a pain). Hopefully won’t need to return anytime soon, but if I ever need more body work done, I will absolutely be going here!”
