Horrible experience. To start with, the rooms were not ready upon arrival. When we finally got our rooms, we encountered several issues: mold on the walls, a dirty bathroom, a clogged toilet, a broken air conditioner, and dirty sheets with hair on them. The faucets were also broken.Absolutely not worth the money; it almost felt like we were staying at a roadside motel.

Nice clean room. King bed with sofa trundle bed and a desk and mini fridge and microwave. Online it says it was last renovated in 2013? But today in May 2024 in person it looks like it was more like five years ago. So if 2013 is accurate then it appears to have been maintained very well. So far experienced good customer service from front desk and breakfast staff. I think those are at least two of the main things that make the biggest difference at hotel stays - clean comfortable room and nice professional staff. Location is also good. This was a good stay not too far from Providence during Memorial weekend and Brown University commencement. But all the prices around this time are crazy.

Nice clean room no issue. Staff was friendly and offered assistance during my stay. Surprised the window curtain was high tech by pressing the button to roll it up or down. Plentiful parking spots. Convenient location of I-95 & Rt.2 East Greenwich & West Warwick. Only thing I wish they can improve is the breakfast and adding yogurt and fruits.

I just spoke with Monica at the front desk and the customer service was superb. She went above and beyond to assist me.

Mold in the bathrooms and lights not working in the vanity area. Notified staff, after 3 days with constant reminders NOTHING changed. Also, the 3rd floor smelled like weed the whole time I’ve been here. People are actively smoking in the rooms and it’s not even addressed. Hotel management needs to be questioned… Do not book a room here.

We booked a King room over 4 months in advance of our stay. We arrived at 4PM to check-in and were assigned a double room. The unprofessional, unempathetic, front desk attendant who clearly hates her job didn't tell us of the room change and let us discover this on our own. When we came back downstairs to raise the issue of not getting the room requested, the front desk clerk suggested we should be thankful we weren't charged extra because a double room costs more than a king. Rather than argue with an imbecile, my wife and I can survive sleeping in separate beds for a night, and I'll just let my internet friends know how business works here. The hotel is in a business park with tons of property and tons of parking. Despite this bounty of space and parking, they charge $3 to park your car here. They charge this fee without asking ANY details about your car. It's just a money-grab.Our room was 402 which had a loud mechanical droning sound constantly heard through the walls and ceiling regardless of our heat/AC unit being turned on.There is plenty of choice in the area. I would advise anyone to stay literally anywhere else. I'll never come back.

I am not sure if I have ever been more shocked in my life. I witnessed a staff person (named Drew) verbally abusing a resident. I was 2nd in line, looking to spend one night before connecting with family in Newport. A sweet red head young woman approaches the desk and a staff member named Drew was verbally assaulting this young woman. I was in shock! This guest was in tears! This was blatantly the most unprofessional AND uncomfortable situation I have ever been in. Hope there was an amicable resolution but I don't think "Drew" was backing down! Very unprofessional in my humble opinion~

The Springhill Suites in West Warwick RI was of such poor quality that I will be canceling my return for next week. I have stayed at this property many times over the past year, with the last in July. The hotel room I stayed in January 20, 2024 is filthy with a running toilet and sink that drips. A noticeable white stain on the couch visible when we first walked in made us wonder about the lack of cleaning after the last frisky guests. To add to the unsavory room was what looked like dried spit above the toilet. We wanted to enjoy a glass of the wine we brought but we were told by the front desk staff that they did not have any glasses at all on the property due to safety reasons. When we asked about the glasses in the bar in the lobby she said it was closed for the season. She suggested going to the Dollar Tree store down the street or drink our nice wine from paper cups.Would look elsewhere.

Not a great hotel experience. We booked for two nights during school vacation week so our kids could do some fun things in the area, but mostly so they could swim in the pool. When we checked in, we were told the pool was closed but would be open "very soon". The next morning, when we asked we were again given a vague "soon". By that afternoon, we finally asked to be moved to another local Marriot with room availability and an open pool. Miraculously, the pool was suddenly open at the time. The water was dirty, full of hair and bandaids and freezing cold. We didn't feel good about swimming in it with the random shut down and the state of the pool. The rooms were ok, but not very clean. When we pulled out the extra bed from the couch it was covered in candy wrappers and all sorts of trash, so it looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Overall, we were pretty disappointed with our "staycation".

The rooms were okay. Not bad for the price but the pool water as well as the jacuzzi ..disappointing. The whole pool area stinks. I thought I was going crazy but after my kids swam and we let everything dry the bathing suits and towels smelled like old cheese it was horrible! The pool area also smells really bad like nasty wet towel & the jacuzzi water looked grey. I rented 2 rooms and the hotel key cards to our main room demagnetized so I went to get another one thinking , okay maybe I had it near my phone. They gave me 2 new cards and they still didn’t work. I went back to let them know and they said oh we are sorry we will have someone right out to fix this issue. 2.5hrs later and still no access to the second room that has literally 90% of our belongings in it. It’s really frustrating to be locked out of your room and not be able to access anything, like car keys for example, so we would be able to leave. Overall the hotel itself looked good on the outside the rooms were ok but the pool/jacuzzi and this whole key ordeal really ruined it for me.

While trying to spend a nice weekend getaway with some friends, we decided to go through a third party to get a cheaper hotel room. The reservation said we were going to have two beds in our room. When we showed up to our room, we had 1 king bed and a couch. We went back down to the front desk to address this miscommunication. When we talked to the front desk lady, Cheryl, she seemed to think that she could talk to customers however she wanted. She yelled at another customer right in front of us because he wanted to buy a drink. She raised up her hand to him and said “you have to wait!” She also talked to us by yelling at us saying she couldn’t do anything to help us. Flash forward to today, the manager, Sharod, talked to us about the situation and he was so nice and understanding. He was able to explain the situation to us in a helpful, respectful manner, the way Cheryl should’ve explained it to us instead of raising her voice to us. The only reason I gave the service rating a 3 was because of Sharod. The manager was able to help us, which made the situation better for sure. But as someone who has worked customer service, I have never experienced someone talking so rude to customers the way Cheryl did. It’s not the first impression you want a hotel to have.

Checked in around 7 pm on January 22. Staff is friendly but can not make up for room smelling like weed.Rooms: As soon as I opened the door, I was blasted with a smell of weed and heat.Emmidiantly reaction is to open window, and use inhaler. Call the front desk and ask for another room. Gal said someone must be smoking, and it is coming thru vents. She can bring air freshener/disinfectant to help with air. I sprayed a bit, but I can't do too much due to asthma. Will be checking out first thins in the morning as I can't find any available hotels tonight. I am sleeping with a window open. At the same time, I'm not sure if keeping the window made it better.

The old lady at the front so rude to me. She rolled her eyes many times even I said thank you she didn’t say anything back and I had to wait for 5mins until she came out from another room and let me checked in. Actually i had to call the front desk so she could hear and came out. She had an attitude to me and my bf. Won’t return because of her. I don’t know why this place still have her as an employee she makes you guys have a bad reputation
