“Mystic Knotworks is an adorable little store that sells knots, yes the ones you tie! They sell everything from doormats, to keychains, to cat and dog toys, baskets, and so many bracelets. Everything is made by tying a differnt type of knot, using different types of rope or cord. And of course everything is made by hand! You might even find the store associates working on a craft while you're in the store. The bracelets are their best sellers. They come in a huge assortment of colors, from very thin to very wide, to everything in between. If for some reason you don't find your favorite color, or combo of colors in your preferred width, they can make it for you, while you're in the store. Everything is very appropriately priced. The bracelets average at around $8 and the doormats at around $50. It is a lot of fun to walk through and see everything that can be made by hand. They even have a book that was written by the store owner, Matt Beaudoin that's a guide on knot tying. When in Mystic, please stop by Mystic Knotwork, you'll be impressed by the variety of knotted items.”

“First time visiting Nest and was thrilled to find a hidden gem of a gift store. Candles, jewelry for every taste, unique decor items, handbags and clothing. The store smells so nice (from those candles and diffusers) and the atmosphere is very inviting. It appears they put out new inventory all the time. Worth a visit!”

“John has framed a number of pieces for us and we've been very happy. He has a good eye and spends time finding the right combination of mat(s) and frame to compliment your art. His workmanship is beautiful. I've priced items at even the 40% off at the big chains and by the time they add on all of the extras, they aren't any cheaper if you compare apples to apples. Makes me feel happy to support this local business!”

“I, like many locals and visitors alike, love this shop! It definitely has a wide assortment of very creative, made in the USA items. That is one of the big draws for me. I gave it five stars because of the kind owner and the eclectic shop. But, to be honest, I would give it four stars due to one employee that does not seem to enjoy her job.This experience is based on two other occasions when I’ve been shopping while she’s been working.The off putting, rub you the wrong way attitude, is not appreciated.If I had to guess about the incident that happened with an another reviewer, my guess would be this was the same employee.I really do enjoy shopping here because of its unique and beautiful items. But, in the future, I will call ahead in hopes that the lovely woman (Marilyn) whom I recently met, will be working instead. Insuring a more pleasant shopping experience.Thank you again for the, made in the USA!”

“The Silver Pappillon is primarily a jewelry store in downtown Mystic. I've always been drawn to it because they have the cutest wine bottle holders, made of metal, that are typically displayed in front of the store. They come in a variety of characters, with so much fine detail. These are a true piece of art. The inside is filled with jewelry. The left side of the store has more finer pieces, while the right is more focused on fashion jewelry and statement pieces. They also have some beautiful handcrafted ornaments of sailboats. I have previously purchased one of these as a souvenir gift for a friend. While this store has many beautiful items, there is a good amount of items that are a bit outdated. My favorite are the unique wine holders and the sailboat ornaments.”

“This was the best store in Olde Mistick Village, the prices weren't astronomically expensive, and it was very tasteful. The clothing and jewellery selection was beautiful, and the soap and candles smelled so good! Definitely not a tourist trap. Would definitely visit this store again!”

“Kids love this store. There is every Schylling toy imaginable, fun craft and quirky cane sugar sodas, like Moxie, every Tonka truck imaginable, great selection of World's Smallest Toys, must-have for road trips, tons of cool, old school candy, Clark bars, retro boxes, handcrafted local candles, soaps, jewelry and greeting cards. There are even Care Bears and the widest selection of Mr. Potato Heads I have ever seen. If you're a child of the 80s or 90s, this place will knock your socks off!”
