“You dog or cat is a part of your family, I’ve been leaving my little guy here when I’m out of town for work which is prob 60-90 days a year for 3 years, and when I’m away they take care of him like he’s part of their family and that’s what you want for your animal family members.”

“I called this place the day of thinking there'd be no way they could accommodate my dog for 3 days with such incredibly short notice. There was no answer, but the woman who owned it called back almost as soon as I hung up. Amazingly they did have space so we took the chance and left her here instead of our usual place. One of the reviews said they're not fancy, but their dog came back happy. This is very accurate. It's not a huge place, but my dog seemed to really like the woman who was working with her the day that we picked her up. My dog is scared of people (but loves other dogs) and she got right up in the face of her new human playmate to give her kisses as we left. My dog has come home exhausted and happy to be home after using certain kennels, but she came home as her usual self after staying here. Doggo is happy so I'm happy! I only regret that I had absolutely no cash left after going to the casino,and there was no option to tip on the receipt with a credit card. Bring cash to tip, don't make the same mistake I made!”
“Great place for pets (to buy for and to bring). Offers more products than you would think. There are some high-quality products that are hard to find, but overall things are a little pricey. I understand the market positioning and that it is a small, local business, but the prices are still high.
The last few times I walked in I was not greeted or acknowledged. Wouldn't think anything of that except for the fact that there were at least two workers behind the counter (very close to the door) and they were not servicing any customers.”
“Whenever I have a problem they are always willing to help me. Fence broke they came out and fixed it. Collar stopped working after three years and I got a new one the same day. I wish more of a discount on batteries but besides that everything is well.”

“We wandered in on our trip to the Shoppes of Old Mystic and LOVE this place. They had the coolest, most unique items for dog and cat lovers and even for my little whale loving nephew, there was a SUPER COOL book. I highly recommend this store if you have little ones to keep entertained while on vacation. For babies and toddlers, there are adorable finger puppet card board books in the back, little ones from the ages of 3-10 would like all of the plastic toy animals, and the plush stuffed animals of EVERY kind. I highly recommend this and several other shoppes in Old Mystic.”
