“Avie's is a great local place for all kinds of sports gear. I'd been in a couple times before for new socks/gloves/jackets etc. This time, I went in to see if they could restring my tennis racket. While they certainly had the skills and materials to, the owner, Ted, told me I didn't really need it. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, or upsell me on a new racket, he just told me to come back when I've put more wear and tear into my racket. When my racket actually needs to be restrung, I know where I'm going!”
“Bea Smith was one of the best decisions I made years ago when I took my position at the Briarwood Community in Worcester. There is an incredible selection of Alfred Dunner and other brands that my residents love. The accessories are always fun and unique .The sweaters, nightwear and jackets are all very popular. Ray Smith is a true gentleman. He's very helpful with sizes and extremely patient. I love that if he does not have your size, he will order it and send it to you. I referred him to my mom's retirement community in NJ and now, at 99 1/2, she is still a loyal Bea Smith shopper.
