Winnapaug Country Club is a public 18-hole golf course located in Westerly, Rhode Island, offering stunning ocean views. The course features a great layout with enough challenge for all levels of play. The staff is consistently praised for their wonderful and friendly service, going above and beyond to accommodate guests, including providing special treatment for elderly visitors. The course conditions are generally well-maintained, with the greens being in great shape. The fairways and rough, however, have been a bit dry and dead in some areas due to weather conditions. Despite this, the course has a lot of potential, and the staff is working hard to keep it in the best possible shape. Golfers have enjoyed the beautiful backdrop of the Great Salt Pond on the back nine, as well as the comfortable golf carts equipped with GPS and "plays like" distance features. Overall, Winnapaug Country Club is a enjoyable golfing experience, with a course that continues to improve every year.
Course could be in better shape but staff is very friendly and hard working. I played couple days back with my buddies. Haven’t been here in a couple years and could spot differences in the course quickly. Pro shop guy I believe his name was Nico was very friendly and accommodating.

Great layout of the course. It's a true Donald Ross. Staff was very helpful and warming. I had the pleasure to deal with a gentleman named Farris he took the time to show us to the 10th tee box.
