“My boyfriend and I recently moved to the area and have heard amazing things about Blackbird Farm. We stopped by on a Sunday to check it out and try out some farm fresh meats as we love to support local. It did not disappoint.
We got to meet AnnMarie personally. She was so welcoming and knowledgeable about all the meats and very open to answering questions and actually encourages questions so she can share the wealth of her knowledge.
It’s farmers and small businesses owners like her that makes all the difference in our community!

“I have been eating Central Falls Kielbasa since I was a baby!! Only Kielbasa we will eat. I used to run RT 117 back roads from Moosup,CT to Jerry's Market right before Easter and buy any where from 8 to 10 rings. Also had my local grocery store, Plainfield Better Val U, have it in their store. I have since moved south to Gales Ferry, CT and want to buy on line.Got to have Central Falls Kielbasa for EASTER!!?????????????????”

At the store, I explained that I don’t have a car and couldn’t carry much weight. The owner kindly said, “Don’t worry, for everything in life there is time,” which really made me smile. I was having the worst experience with Stop & Shop. Their avocados were always rotted even if their skin look fresh and ripe...
So I'm grateful this market delivers fresh and quality foods to all people.
