The facility features a nice pool, where swimming lessons are available, though the lifeguards can be talkative at times. While the parking situation could be improved, the YMCA provides a great space for kids' birthday parties and a dedicated kids' zone. Customers appreciate the water jets in the shallow indoor pool, even though only one out of two is functioning, and praise the lifeguards, especially Cameron and Micah, for their excellent service. The YMCA also hosts a thriving pickleball community, catering to players of all skill levels. Overall, the Anderson Area YMCA is a valuable community resource, offering a wide range of activities and opportunities for personal growth and well-being.

Gym equipment is good, the rugs in the ladies room should be taken out-they stink!!! And I’m sure full of germs-hope you don’t walk barefoot!! Put rug-less flooring in!! Could use a paint job in certain areas, i.e. paint peeling, that should be dealt with too.
