“We were on vacation in the Isle of Palms area in South Carolina heading back to New Hampshire when we ran into car trouble. My 2023 Chevy Tahoe suddenly went into “limp mode” and would no longer go in reverse. We stopped at several Chevy dealerships in the Mount Pleasant area and no one was able to help us, nor did they seem to care. They literally said they could get it looked at mid July. (Who can extend their vacation that long?!) We stopped in to this Napa to see if we could get the part to just read the codes. My Husband intended on buying the code reader. But Wade came out and used the store’s reader and really tried to help us. It just seemed like he cared. He was very knowledgeable with what he thought was going on and recommended us to go see Mr. Moore down the street. The end result didn’t change anything, but the kindness that he showed us really made a difference in our spirits. I’m happy to say that we did make it back to New Hampshire, driving in “limp mode.” We could not drive over 51mph the entire way. It did take about double the amount of time that it should’ve, but all that matters is that we arrived safely, with our two kids in tow. Our car is now at the dealership getting repaired. We made it back home with only 250 miles to spare until our warranty would run out. Thanks for your kindness, Wade!! Naps is lucky to have you!”
