“I have never seen this store before. I lived in the area for at least nine years and just recently saw postings on fb market place for them. They have a ton of items. Mostly clothes. The store is set up in rooms. Maybe it was supposed to be office space? That would make sense with the lay out. I think they would do good with a different location. Their prices are fair. Comparable to other shops. However they were running 50% off everything in the store and that made what we purchased totally worth it. It was like good old fashion thrift shopping. Our purchase is fabulous and we do not feel like we got ripped off. The only thing that did bother me was one person kind of hanging out waiting to see if we wanted to purchase the furniture we were looking at. I don’t think the person was doing it to be rude or anything. But it was bothersome as my husband and I wanted and needed some time to talk about the purchase. We didn’t want to talk about private matters with the owner right there. So we left and spoke about it and went back to make the purchase. I feel if the person would had not come back two or three times to see if we were ready we might have gotten our ducks in a row and wouldn’t have left just to return. But again, I do not think it was meant in a rude manner. The person was extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice. I will return whenever there is 50% off because you can’t beat it.”

“Friendly people good finds and very clean. I will return when I am in Hilton Head area again. My boys had as much fun as I did searching for treasures! They found a nice bag of toy planes that made their day!”

“You know you just have to get there on a good day. That is how it is with places like this. You can either be there on a bad day or an amazing day. This location is about twice the size of the HHI location. It is usually kept clean and as organized as it can be. Not horrible on organization. Clothes are in the correct size location which makes shopping so much easier. Staff is always nice.”

“This thrift shop is listed on Google Maps as a "furniture showcase," which is about as accurate as Google's insistence on publishing my personal phone number as someone else's business line for the last 5 years (and good luck trying to get them to correct that). But, as the saying goes, I digress. This thrift shop is very large, and has far more clothing and houseware items than furniture. The clothing prices are a bit higher than other thrifts (a few doors away, another thrift shop had a bin of quality t-shirts priced at three for $1, while Off Island's individual t-shirts were $4); but overall the prices aren't painful (and if you don't like the price, you don't have to buy). There was also a table outside the entrance that offered free items that other shops would have kept price tags on. Complaints in other reviews about management may be dated or motivated by the writers' personal biases or unreasonable expectations (such as not being allowed inside the store when it's scheduled to close in 10 minutes; I'd like to see that complainer at his/her desk at 10 minutes before quitting time to see their enthusiasm at the possibility of having to stay even a minute late.) Overall, a very worthwhile thrift experience.”
