“This place had some cheap gas i could get before getting on the highway. They have lottery, snacks, tobacco products, and a friendly staff. They have a hunt brothers pizza connected but i didnt go there this time”
“This store has been in East Camden for a long time. They have the typical convenience store items. Soft drinks, beer, wine cigarettes. Also, chips and candy. They have a food bar offering coffee, hot dogs, and other microwaveable quick items. I got a good hotdog for $2. The bread could have been a little fresher but otherwise a good hotdog. They also have lottery ticket sales. Friendly staff, clean store and bathroom.”

“One of the few 24 hour spots I found in the area outside of a Circle K. Good coffee, slurpees, and nothing is ever out. It gets filled. Staff is cool. Decent beer selection it looks like. Not sure if they have much hot food just hot dogs maybe.. So far my favorite spot in Camden.”

“I've been to a plethora of different gas stations in my life, but the Riverdeck is where I feel welcomed.
Before you walk in, they're one of three businesses overlooking Lake Wateree. If you're not in a rush, you can watch the sunlight sparkle on the surface of the lake. You'll see boaters, fishers and swimmers walking in for a good meal.
When you walk in, odds are you'll see live Catfish behind teh counter, swimming in a container.
The store offers basic conveniences, colorful key chains near the register, local trinkets and t-shirts, and delicious Chicken Tenders. Seriously, I order my lunch there on the way home. Plus, I love the root beer they have in stock.
Because of them, I share fond memories of my family eating there for breakfast. Seriously, Country Fried Steak Platter is to die for.
Each local business I've visited display nothing short of Southern Hospitality. The Riverdeck is no different. If you're out fishing and need a bite to eat, help support them by eating there.
Their location would fit perfect for Norman Rockwell's artwork. To quote from him:
"Commonplaces never become tiresome. It is WE who become tired when we cease to be curious and appreciative..."
I will never tire of the Riverdeck.
You can never beat local businesses that make you feel at home.”
