Delightful little ( not so) bookstore. Used options, rare options, autographed options.

I highly recommend visiting this independent bookstore just north of Marion Square - a great mix of new, used, and rare books.

Blue Bicycle Books is one of South Carolina's best Independent Books stores. They off a wide verify of books from local titles to the newest YA bestseller.Blue's does alot of youth literature\community engagement events through the year in various forms from poetry too YA literature. They sponsored the Yallfest which basically shuts down a Charleston street every in the name of all thinks bookish and bibliophile.Blue's is definitely worth a visit and a social media follow to keep track of all author events coming up!

An ultimately disappointing selection of books on offer. A lot of 'new' (and highly priced) books for a store with a sign that highlights used books. The organization of said books also could use improvement. I knew I wasn't in the right place when I saw James Clavell's entire Shogun series shelved in the Military History section. As someone that has visited 10+ bookstores across three states in the past week, this was the only store I walked out of without a single purchase. On the positive side, there were some interesting books on display -- a signed copy of Dwight Eisenhower's memoir, for example. And the store was spacious. It can't hurt to check the place out. Maybe you'll have more luck than me.

Very interesting books, and mostly local to the area. As a tourist I really wanted to buy more than 2 books but my suitcase would not tolerate it. Very interesting selection between the cook books, books on wars, classics and signed collectable books. I highly recommend stopping in!

Blue Bicycle Books has an eclectic assortment of books ranging from new to old and rare. Make sure that you give yourself time and don't rush through the store. They have organized booms in sections, and there is even an adorable kids' room. The store is clean, and the gentleman sitting at the desk was friendly.

Small but interesting bookshop with a mixture of new and used books. Lots of local interest books for Charleston, it's food, history, and people. Very pleasant atmosphere and great location.

Excellent bookstore on upper King. The layout is super long and narrow, with several "rooms" on the right side where you can sit and browse (one room is even designed for kids). It ends up being a cozy and comfortable space, with a huge selection of books of all types.

This was a great stop. They have so many fun books, a nice sized section dedicated to Charleston history. Otherwise they have a lot of classics, very nice selection of used and brand new books in all categories. Great stop in Charleston.

A haven of peace on King Street. We walked in and were greeted by the soothing smell of books and quiet. The person working was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and I walked away with two books that I can't wait to read. Great selection of rare books, as well. Will absolutely be visiting again.

oh my goodness, walking into this store I found my new 'happy place'! the variety of books, from modern to classics to collectable.. separate rooms for different themes. even the themes were different from those i had seen in other stores but they were intuitive. found two books and probably would have ended up with more if I didn't have to fit them into my carry-on.
