Food Lion is a favorite supermarket, described as a nice, clean, and well-stored store with nicely organized shelves. It is not too big or small, offering an old-fashioned supermarket feel. The store has some of the best prices in the area with reasonable costs. While the produce occasionally leaves something to be desired, the quality of the meats is liked, and there is a tasty wing bar at lunchtime. The staff is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and provides good customer service with great smiles. Management is great, contributing to a consistently great experience.
Organized, well stocked, good produce, clean, friendly, cheap. This store is everything the Publix next door aims to be, but way cheaper. The owner/operator/manager here is clearly a cut above other grocery stores.
