These pajamas shrink so bad. Shrank after first wash after following their wash instructions. I reached out to customer service and got a rude response. I do not recommend this brand for pricing, quality, or their service. Use your dollars at eberjay. The service is great and the quality is way better.

Be very careful not to put these pjs in the dryer...they will shrink. Bought these for a Christmas gift. Only wore them once and now too small. Expensive lesson learned! Not worth the price.

Writing this review for the company as a whole as I am very dissatisfied with my Lake Pajamas experience. Ordered 4 pairs of Pj's during the big sale in November. I was thrilled to get my sets and immediately wore them once they arrive (no prior washing). I woke up to extreme discoloration without explanation. I have since washed the pajamas (following all washing instructions on the site) thinking this was just an odd coloring issue and would come out with no luck. I obviously cannot even wear the green pair. These pajamas are very comfortable, but the lack of accountability from Lake for replacing or issuing a credit is embarrassing. I will never be purchasing from Lake again. Save your money for Hill House some other brand who actually cares about their customers.

Subject: Feedback on Customer Service and Product Satisfaction Here's what I wrote to them after spending 700$ on pajamas (!): Dear Lake Pajama Company Customer Service, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service responses I have received regarding the fit of the pajamas I purchased from your company. After encountering several issues and noticing similar complaints on the Better Business Bureau site, I feel compelled to share my feedback in the hopes of fostering improvement. One of the primary concerns I have is with the sizing of the pajamas. Despite following the sizing recommendations on your website, I experienced significant problems with the fit after washing. The garments, which were initially ordered in medium, ended up being far too large, causing discomfort and rendering them practically unusable. While I understand that the website advises customers about potential shrinkage, the resulting size difference was extreme and left me with pajamas that not only looked unappealing but were also impractical, slipping off the shoulders and down at the waist. The issue is further exacerbated by the company's policy of not allowing returns or exchanges for items that have been washed. This policy seems unduly stringent, especially when customers are diligently following care instructions provided by the company. The inability to exchange items that do not meet expectations is both frustrating and financially burdensome, particularly considering the significant investment customers make in your products. In my feedback, I would like to draw attention to the customer-centric approach adopted by other high-end companies such as Nordstrom, LL Bean, Crew, and Anthropologie. These companies prioritize customer satisfaction and demonstrate flexibility in addressing issues related to product fit and quality. In contrast, the one-size-fits-all response I have received from Lake Pajama Company appears rigid and fails to consider the unique circumstances and concerns of individual customers. I believe that revisiting and potentially revising the company's policies regarding returns and exchanges, especially in situations where sizing issues arise despite customers following provided guidelines, would greatly enhance customer satisfaction. Adopting a more flexible and customer-friendly approach, akin to industry leaders, could contribute significantly to the positive reputation of Lake Pajama Company. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that my feedback is taken into consideration for the benefit of both current and future customers. If there are any avenues for resolution or further discussion on this matter, please let me know.

I purchased 4 sets of holiday pajamas; tried on one pair which fit well with some room to spare. I washed in cold water and allowed to air dry as the label stated. I expected some shrinkage in the length just as the item description indicated. However, I was unprepared for the amount of shrinkage in the hips, arms and chest. I called the company, hoping that since I had purchased 4 sets, they would make an exception to their policy and allow me to return/exchange. Instead, I was told to take photos, send them in and they would make a determination. How can shrinkage be measured in photos? Instead of taking a customer's word and doing the right thing, they dug their heels in with "policy" that's more important than keeping a customer. The remaining three pairs are now being returned - lost sale and lost customer. So disappointing because I love the fabric and loved the prints. I wish I had read the many reviews not on their website before purchasing. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

I really wanted to love the $130+ robe I purchased from Lake Pajamas online (their stores are in NC and GA) - but unless I am sitting completely still, the robe slips open. The fabric is super soft pima cotton, the fit (size-wise) is perfect, and the design is beautiful (Parisian green stripe) - however, at this price point I expect to be able to move in the clothing I purchased. I'm constantly adjusting it as it slips off. When I wrote a similar review on Lake's website, they would not publish it. All the reviews on their site are glowing... I wish I had gone to a third party site first. I contacted customer service asking what could be done about the expensive robe that I can't even wear, AND inquiring when I could expect to see my review on their site, and they were completely unhelpful ("try wearing pajamas under the robe, the soft cotton does slip open") and evasive ("we don't put reviews about our return policy on our site"... but my review was about the product quality). They said they would pass on my concerns, and I'm 0% surprised to say I haven't heard back. I would not recommend purchasing from this company - there are others out there who are more reasonably priced for just as good quality, and who care about their customers loving their products. Some suggestions: Girlfriend Collective and Pact both have high quality pajamas, and are companies that are committed to sustainability as well.

Buyer beware! Placed an order on June 19th for my sister's birthday to be shipped to Hawaii in 3-7 days. I contacted customer service because shipping was delayed and was told shipping to Hawaii may take 2-4 weeks to arrive. Had the estimated shipping date been accurate, I wouldn't have placed the order, as shipping to Hawaii via USPS is in 3 days! The package finally arrived yesterday, one month later. Customer service is the absolute worst, and I should have read these reviews first. And I wonder why there aren't any responses from the business posted here!!!

I only wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing. Sending them back as soon as they arrive!! Customer service is beyond abominable - would not honor the 10% code they sent in an email two minutes prior to me hitting the purchase button. Hoping my credit card will go to bat for me on the $7 return shipping fee. This company is the worst - overpriced, greedy, not helpful. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!

Although the pajamas have not even been delivered, I hesitate to give anything other than a 1 due to the poor customer service. We ordered pajamas for my sister's birthday. We received an email that they had been delivered, but they had not. We called Lake to let them know. They did not have anymore in stock. We asked for a refund, but they refused. Their only option was to send a different pajama than we originally ordered. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I was given a pair of Lake pajamas for Mother's Day and initially I was delighted with them. However, after less than one year of wear, the elastic is rippled and completely stretched. The bottoms just fall off. I contacted Lake Pajamas and they will not offer any solution other than to tell me "Unfortunately, we cannot replace this item or accept it as a return, as this is not considered a manufacturing defect." I am very disappointed that they do not stand by their products. I simply cannot recommend them based on the above.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I went to the store to try on my pajamas. The girl suggested one size up, because they shrink. I bought one size up and handwashed in cold water and followed the instructions. The pajamas shrank 3 inches in length. I emailed the company with photos and they responded with this, "While we are sorry to hear about the issue with your pajamas, this is not a manufacturing defect; therefore, we cannot authorize a return or replacement. I understand this is not the response you were hoping for; however, we are consistent with this policy in order to be fair to all of our customers." They really do not care about customers being happy and have worked more on influencer relationships than actual satisfied customers. BUYER BEWARE! These are horrible pajamas that shrink. I'd rather have a $30 pair from Target than these!

MILDREW! Please beware, I purchased 2 sets of theElizabeth floral pajamas for my daughters. I washed both sets together in cold water on delicate. Surprisingly, one top came out with what appears to be mold on it. They were clean with no stains or food on them - my 8 month old baby had worn them twice. Lake acknowledged that their pajamas can mildew. After only 1 wash and 2 wears this is completely unacceptable.
