“Prestige provides excellent and quick clothes cleaning service. My only complaint would be that I have found it to be a bit pricey; but I guess everything is more expensive, these days.

“Thankful to see this laundromat taken care of. My parents were one of the original owners in the early 2000s and I literally grew up here from the time I was 4 to my teenage years. I would come here after school and watch tv and play pool with some of the customers. I have a lot of fond memories of this place and I’m grateful to see new life and care for this laundromat.”

“Oct 2025 Update: Okay, maybe I was a little too hasty in my first review. I didn’t give the business time to tweak things. As of today, I’m adding three more stars to my review. The prices aren’t too bad and the machines work just fine. We’re allowed to change our minds.
I am very disappointed that the quality of service has plummeted with newer machines and higher prices. After the sticker shock of new prices, a couple of $12 machines, I was reassured by the same dryer cost of 25 cents…that is until I actually used the new dryers and realized that it takes triple the cost to dry your clothes at triple the time. The washers take longer too. HOW are new machines worse than the old ones??? I have a laundry room at my apartment complex, but I bypassed it to come here because the machines were more efficient…until now. Two stars to split the difference between my previous 4-star rating and my new 0-star rating. Thank you Johns Island Coin Laundry for inspiring me to purchase my own set of machines. Sincerely. Congratulations for the renovations!”
“Although I love doing my laundry here I hate having to fight with the HappyNest workers. The HappyNest people will come here and take up 5 or 6 washers then 5 or 6 dryers to wash and dry laundry. I then have to compete to dry my one basket of laundry. I understand the HappyNest people are trying to make money but it’s unfair to basically do commercial laundry service in this facility.”
“Had a great experience with this dry cleaners. Local and convenient. It was my first time using them and I will certainly be back. It was an easy process, took a few days but I didn't need the clothes back right away. I received a text when they were ready and paid online. “1/2 the price of others and they did a fantastic job cleaning. They were upfront about the service they could provide, he threw in an extra treatment for free (typically ~90$) because he had the equipment with him in the truck and thought it would help, and did a detailed walkthrough afterwards explaining what he did and why certain things wouldn’t come out. I didn’t even notice the small spots he mentioned but I appreciate the honesty. He also suggested other services when I asked him about non-carpet cleaning questions and he seemed very experienced and knowledgeable. Super friendly and flexible, I will 100% use them again in the future, it’s such an easy choice.”
