This place works like a well oiled machine. On busy days (Fridays and Mondays), there is usually a line for tellers, but it moves quickly. There are two ATMs out front, for self service - but no drive thru at this location. Also, there are customer service reps in offices, for opening / closing accounts and for loan applications.

Kelli at the Sam Rit location was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I came to her desk in a true panic and she talked me through the entire process I needed to go through and helped me with the utmost patience and kindness for over two hours, even over what I would assume was her lunch break! She is absolutely an example of what Navy Federal should seek to have in each of their customer facing employees. She did everything quickly and efficiently and made me feel like my accounts were safe and secured. Couldn't have asked for a better experience when I walked in. Thank you Kelli! You deserve the recognition!

Walked in to cash a check written to me and drawn on this bank. Teller was combative, not helpful and could have handle things better. Would not recommend this branch based on my 1st impression.

They are committing fraud at navy federal by no longer cashing checks and instead forcing members to make deposits in order to inflate their deposits on their financial documents. I look forward to when they fail like these other banks in the news. Serves them right!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Arrived here this morning bright and early to get a new debit card as my entire wallet had been stolen and I needed at minimum to be able to cover my return back home to Texas. Upon my arrival I told all parties the situation and was given flippant, textbook responses. I had not only shown them the photo copy of my state ID but also showed them that I can access my accounts and provide access number/social if necessary. All information matching what is in my account! The manager still refused to do anything and treated me as if I was trying to steal from myself! I know for a fact I would never have gotten this treatment in Texas and cannot wait to return

Love, Love, Love that they opened this location West of the Ashley!!! Having to go to the North Charleston location was a stretch because of the traffic and it was always soo crowded.Everyone is so friendly and seems to go out of their way to help you with your bank transaction as quickly as possible.It's called "GREAT CUSTOMER CARE/SERVICE. "Love it.

Disclaimer this has nothing to do with this location. I have been with the bank so many years and I have in the past loved this bank. Right now I’m starting to feel like they are not for customers anymore. The customer service is starting to stink badly all down to managers. No one has soft skills nor do they have empathy. I got my situation resolved which was not my fault but wow what I had to go through and how far up I had to go disgusted me.

Mortgage department is trash. Loan officer does not communicate AT ALL. Manager of mortgage department does not respond or communicate either. The entire process was horrible. Missed our closing date 3 times and we switched lenders and got approved and processed in under a month. NFCU MORTGAGE DEPARTMENT SUCKS.

The atm is open 24 hours. There are 2. The bank hours vary but I know they have Saturday hours. The mobile app is great.

I do a lot of my banking after hours at the ATM. Last couple of times I went to this location to deposit money the ATMs couldn’t take a deposit. I don’t live close to this branch so it can be a bit frustrating to waste a trip when the ATMs aren’t working as expected.
