“I was having car trouble on my way through Chester last night. I was driving alone and a bit distraught. I stopped at your store just before closing. Curt, one of your employees, quickly learned I needed an alternator and stressed that he did not feel my car would make it to my destination. Long story short, he and Mario located the alternator I would need, and suggested where I should take the car near by for the repair in the morning. My car wouldn’t start so I left it at the store. Curt asked Mario if it was against store policy to drive me to Richburg to drop me off at a hotel on his way home. He then offered to let me take a picture of his ID to share if it made me feel safer. When dropping me off he shared that he would hope someone would take care of his mother or sister if in need. Both Curt and Mario were extremely helpful particularly at closing time, logical and kind to a stranger clearly in need of help and in distress. I’m not sure what I would have done without their help. They are my heroes. Advance Auto has some wonderful employees working for them. Forever thankful, Kim King”

I have no question that once it gets re-installed that it will be a great motor for years to come. His work, and his mechanics work has always been phenomenal. I took my motor to Ray’s because he had already completely rebuilt my grandmothers 351 Cleveland that now put out over 500hp, and it has run perfectly ever since. “This is definitely a MUST READ!!! My vehicle (infiniti Q50) was stolen on 10/2/25 & later found. After searching around for someone to fix the autobody work a good friend referred Davis body shop, I was hesitant because I live in Charlotte Nc & he's in Chester Sc. Fast fwd my car was towed to the shop and repairs began, parts were ordered & no help from my insurance in being timely & me being beyond frantic & frazzled Mr Marc Davis ensured me he would still move fwd and helped in every way making my stressful situation much smoother. The professionalism & integrity that he shown as well as compassion moved me beyond words. The work was beyond Superior & Top tier. My car was even delivered to my friends house bc I was not able to go pick the car up from Chester so the fact that they went well over & beyond in customer care I give them a 5 ?gold ? medal. & HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if you looking for GRADE A service this is the place to take your car.
