TAPS Bar & Café
157 Old Greenville Hwy, ClemsonThis is our go to place to stay when visiting Clemson. The staff is always friendly and willing to help accommodate every situation. Rick Erwin's Clemson
127 Market Street, ClemsonWonderful meal celebrating my wife birthday with friends. What I thought might be a quaint table of four we were seated at a table adjacent to a birthday party table celebrating a birthday that included outdoor sparklers with a terrible odor. Another large group table was also adjacent to our table with a robust group of men. This looked like a group of men that worked together having a celebration type dinner. I didn't mind that so much but the sound levels to where we sat were just too high. Rick came by to check on us but it was prior to us receiving our main course. It was a long wait but our waitress, Mac was very accommodating. The kitchen was overworked but the food once received was delicious. Service was very good, but a noise separation needs to be installed to separate that large table in front of the large dining room from the tables to give us old folks a quieter environment.

Groucho's Deli
104 Fendley St, ClemsonNothing beats eating a tasty and juicy sandwich after attending a college football game. This place makes wonderful sandwiches. I had one with melted cheese, chips, and a soda. Service was very good. Students working the restaurant. Unfortunately, the inflation has shrunk the sandwich sizes along with the meat in them. This is true everywhere now. Make me reminisce fondly about the days we were served big sandwiches with lots of meat and cheese in them. Parking was plentiful and free. It is a college town and seating is basic.

Mac's Drive In
404 Pendleton Rd, ClemsonNostalgic hamburger joint. Older clientele will remember when this was the norm and younger clientele can experience how things were when life was a lot slower pace.
