I had to go talk to Shariece Murray about a fraudulent charge and she was was very professional and polite. She got me taken care of in a timely manner. I was even greeted by the whole bank it seemed like when I walked it.

I waited in line for 20 minutes before I was even acknowledged then I cashed my check and was charged a fee and when I was told it would be free. Also Kristen is very rude. I will never come to this bank ever again.

The customer service today was great!. There were 2 tellers at the drive-thru and 1 person at the counter when I walked in the lobby. The counter person asked the drive-thru person, who seemed to be more experienced, to assist me when she got at a stopping point. The teller came over, leaving 1 teller at the drive-thru, and immediately got my info and went to the computer to enter some corrections. She returned with a sheet and showed me the corrections and I left. Mission accomplished. I have been with BB&T now Truist for 25+ years and I appreciate great customer service.My concern is last week I went to another branch and was given 2 options to correct my problem. (wrong name on my ordered checks). The experienced service person told me I could wait until the manager got off the phone or I could call the 800 number myself, because that's what they would do and give the correct info. I waited for about 10 or 15 min and left. No customers were in the lobby and no backed up line at the drive-thru. I regularly use this branch and know the faces.

We have had multiple experiences with this bank where they hold a payment in order to collect late fees. The first time we had audi send a pay off to the bank. The payment was sent with a verified signature meaning we had proof that Truist received their payment prior to the due date. Truist still reported the payment as late to the credit agency. We are having the exact same issue again. After the first issue, we decided to refinance our new car with a more respectable banking institution. Once again, they’ve received their payoff — we have a signed verification of receipt — and they’re charging us late fees again AND locking us out of the online banking system so that we can’t see that the car is paid off. This bank has not yet learned that repeat satisfied customers are better than trying to use underhanded practices to get an extra $16 before customers choose another institution. Avoid this “bank” at all costs. We have business dealings with USAA, BOA, Founders, Navy Federal, and Allsouth. All are better options than this scam.

Do not get a home loan through them. We are the seller of our home. We were set to close on the house on the 14th of Jan. The buyers realtor had a very hard time trying to get in touch with the loan officer Jerry and he wouldn't answer our calls at the end either. A week before closing, they notified the buyer that they had to have the husband to the loan due to a miscalculation of the wife's student loans. The day before closing, they notified us that we would not be closing. Not only do are we paying for a rental and have been for a month now, we are still paying a mortgage payment. They have no sense of urgency and the loan officer seems to have no care in the world about peoples lives! My realtor said in all her career, she's hardly ever had this happen to her. We've even asked the loan officer if it was possible to speed the process along considering it was his fault for miscalculations that he did not realize until a week before closing. Instead, buy a home through a smaller firm who cares about the well-being of others and their clients.

By far the worst bank I have ever banked with for MULTIPLE reasons!!! I can go on and on and on. After two years of banking with BB&T I am finally closing this account cause I never want to deal with this bank again!

Not to happy with this bank. On 2/23/18 they closed my account out without my PERMISSION and me not signing any paperwork stating I wanna close it out. & Me and my wife gets our paychecks direct deposit each Friday. Once I call up tomorrow they better fix the problem if they wanna keep me & my wife as a happy customer
