CITY GRIT is a special and unique restaurant in Columbia, providing a phenomenal and memorable experience. The food is amazing, easily a 9-10, with guests blown away by how good everything was. Dishes are fresh, flavorful, interesting, and delicious. Standout items include the whipped feta, patatas bravas, sourdough with onion butter, white bolognese, gnudi, La Bella Farm moulard duck breast, short ribs with polenta, and desserts like the bombas, a strawberry dessert, and a dark chocolate pistachio creation. The scenery and music create a great vibe. The service is outstanding, A+, and could not have been better. The staff is super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and treats guests like friends, making them feel incredibly welcome and special. Communication is great, including thoughtful touches like text messages and personalized cards. The team provides spot-on recommendations and engaging conversation. The wine selection is excellent. While service can occasionally be behind, it remains friendly. CITY GRIT is by far the best restaurant in Columbia, a highly recommended place where guests will definitely be back.

Amazing food. The high points were the sourdough and onion butter, short ribs with polenta, and bombas dessert. The mushroom pasta was a little lacking. The service was behind tonight but still friendly and professional.
