The rooms are not updated but the service and care from the employees made up for it. Ms. Addie the GM, Della, Sheila and Anthony made things pleasant in a not so pleasant time. Even the housekeepers and grounds men made sure we had what we needed.

The employees and manager were great during our time of need during hurricane Helene. Even though the hotel had no power, they all remained onsite and helped out the best way they could. They greeted us with open arms and smiles. THANK YOU!!

This location is terribly managed. The premises is understaffed, good signage is missing, and weeds and garbage surround the perimeter. The room is damaged throughout from furniture to holes in doors and broken laminate cupboards. The smoke alarm is missing and the scent of cigarette smoke permeates, covered up by an air freshener chemical scent that smells disgusting. They advertise offering pots, pans, and cookware and yet none of it is available. With the thought of coming here to work remotely and to get a shower after escaping Hurricane Helene, I was deeply disappointed and will be leaving today instead of staying two weeks. It has tarnished my desire to explore Columbia, SC. I have also reported them to FEMA. No one should experience housing accommodations in this way.

Disgusting. Cockroaches all over the floor , in the drawers and dead inside the lamp shade. Sink clogged.

I booked a room here from their web site. It looked NOTHING like it. Got too to property and immediately called and canceled my reservation. The property was overgrown with weeds and grass. Windows had screens hanging off and cracks in the glass. Couldn't even find the front door to go in. I cannot comment on the room since I didn't go inside but from the looks of the people hanging out in the parking lot, it looked like a seedy motel that rents rooms by the hour that you see in movies.

This location does NOT deserve even a 1 star review; where do I begin? non functional lights, a toilet which does not flush, cable TV which does not work absence of furniture in 224 which we had to have moved from our even worse room 222, I forgot to mention NO Morning COFFEE was available like each and every ESA we have stayed in over the last 10 years. Best thing ESA could do is SELL IT or DEMOLISH it.

The rooms were infested with bed bugs and the plumbing in the sink was leaking on the inside of the cabinets and caused water damage. It was reported to management but no one was ever sent to fix the issue and I was told they did not have a maintenance person to take care of it. Also, they did not own any vacuum cleaners for housekeeping.

Horrible management, drains in the bathtub didn't work, bee nest every where when I told management about it she did absolutely nothing.

Quiet and in the cut. Rooms are clean contrary to what others have said. No bugs, or stains or furniture and all appliances work. New Management is amazing as well as front desk staff. Everyone is so nice and hospitable, and will make sure your stay is comfortable. Thanks for being or home away from home!

We checked in for one night as a result of the original hotel we had booked was absolutely filthy. We should have went somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. Room was dirty. Beds are more like cots and extremely uncomfortable. The mirror literally had graffiti on it. The receptionist that checked us in was very pleasant, however the woman who checked us out was short and rude, and wearing a VERY vulgar t-shirt. Something along the lines of “F$&K off”. Totally unprofessional and ABSOLUTELY not worth $100 for a one night, Monday night, stay. Spend your money elsewhere.

Rooms: All rooms have a full kitchenette in them including full sized refrigerators, a two top burner and a full size kitchen sink. There are also kitchen cabinets and shelves along with a kitchen table.
Nearby activities: The riverbank zoo is right next door. You were also a very short drive from downtown Columbia.
Walkability: There is a Waffle House and 7-Eleven within walking distance that are both 24 hours.
