The ladies at the counter were nice, but it would have been nice for me to be warned that I needed COMPREHENSIVE AND COLLISION coverage insurance BEFORE I ubered all the way up there just to be stranded. Not offered any other solutions, just we can't rent to you. Because I don't have full coverage. Plus, it's not mentioned anywhere on their website or email they send you that they won't rent to you without full coverage insurance. When i called, all she said was bring your insurance card in with you. I'm going to ENTERPRISE, where you don't even NEED ANY CAR INSURANCE TO RENT THEIR CARS.

I recently rent a car from Hertz in Irmo, SC due to my insurance. But I will be utilizing ENTERPRISE rental for now own. When I picked up the carit was only explained to that I needed to fill up the car up with gas. I was never told that the car needed to be cleaned out as well. I have rented several cars from them in the past and never cleaned out the car. I dropped the car of at the auto bodyshop on Thursday November 16. 2023. I received a caled on Wednesday November 22, 2023 asking me where was the car dropped off at. I told the young lady that the car was at the autobody shop since last Thursday. The young lady called me back with an attitude saying the car was so grossly dirty and they were charging me $200 cleaning fee. I stated to her that I was never told of that information. Of course she was like you was recorded. I was so frustrated with her I just got the phone with her. I called back to speak with the regional area manager but of course she had an attitude as well. I asked if could come back to see the car because the car was not grossly dirty. She stated that the car was being cleaned. She stated that she does have pictures and she can email them to me. Some how the phone disconnected while was asking me about my email address. She never called back. I did not even know if she had send the pictures until I checked my email. I viewed the pictures to see the grossly mess that was left in the car. I have a five years old that put finger prints on the windows, his car seat left a little bit of crumbles. The cuphold had some crumbles. When the guy can to pick me up that day to get the car if smell just like marijuana. I had to get a car freshers for the car. But when I was on Facebook it is quote on their page that "So after they get the car from someone that had previous rented the car. The car is cleaned and sanitized". If I had cleaned the car they still go into the car and clean the car and sanitized it before rent it to the next person.

Was charged for an excessively dirty car/dog hair present. It was a black interior that was not completely clean when received. There were no dogs in car. Any hair would have come from clothing. We vacuumed all loose sand before turning it in. Buying a black interior vehicle with carpet is going to leave evidence of sand. This is a ploy to overcharge customers from their listed online prices. Completely unfounded. Will never use Hertz again.

A quiet; out of the way location. The establishment is very clean and tidy. Staff are approachable and friendly. I rented a car here for 5 days, and the process was simple and quick. Everything was explained thoroughly, yet to the point. I definitely plan on renting here again because I really appreciate the service.

H3ll zero, no..They accept Credit cards or Debit cards..Here's the kicker ?..If you don't have a Credit card..You can use your bank card. At this location..The girl at the front desk..Explained how I would need to provide my Full social security number , a soft pull from your credit background...WTH!!!! I'm not purchasing a vehicle..I'm renting...So I'll provide my Valid Drivers license , car insurance plus my debit card...Yet you still want to run my social security number...Sounds very fraud, to me...Beware!!!! Don't provide your Social Security number just to rent a car...Enterprise...

Worst place . Refused to use job discount code negotiated by corporate. Service rep stated you had to prove you are married to your spouse. Craziest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m glad the customer went else where and so did I. All churches, groups etc . Rent from anyone except this location or any hertz on by these people. They do not value customers service. Do not rent from them . I will post the owners name later.

Car was great, very covaent location for me. The only reason I gave 3 stars it because I returned the vehicle one day early and they would revise the price because the location is closed on Sundays. I booked thru Expedia and called once I dropped the car off but they were unable to help. I would have thought maybe they would have cameras they could look back on but they do not

After a traumatic car accident where I was blindsided by a heavy steel work truck, Allison blind sided me with the kindness, care, attention, hospitality, customer service, and experience in general that I assume heaven offers because she was an angel. In a time when hope is dwindling for anyone needing insurance covered rental wheels, Allison not only miraculously found me wheels (no clue how she did it, I assume since she's an angel, she put in a formal request), she found me the equivalent or better (it's way better) to my car that was murdered earlier this week. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Hertz at all. In fact, I think Allison erased any previous opinions of Hertz from any not as pleasant experiences. She is like a wizard or something and Hertz, the company, need to give her a raise and bring her into corporate to resolve whatever challenges affect Hertz profits. She has the answers, she knows how to fix problems, and she's doing it with outdated technology and minimal assistance. Favorite car rental location in town now and that never existed before. Allison even showed me how to reserve rental cars through the app and I never thought about using rentals for work until she told me about so thank you Allison! You are literally the best! Love you mean it!

Exceptional service, A+. We experienced a water seal leak in a current rental vehicle and stopped by to ask for a swap out. This team went over and beyond to accommodate us. It really was the most pleasant rental car experience I have ever experienced. Keep up the good work

I originally gave this establishment 5 stars because they were able to get me a rental at a desperate time. However, returning the rental was hell! System half works, employees/store manager are clueless. It literally took an hour for me to return this rental causing me to be late for work. And on top of that, I was not able to get my full deposit refunded due to company error! Never again! I should’ve stuck with enterprise!!!

Prior to this location getting bought by a new company they were great. I loved the friendly atmosphere and the willingness to assist. However, since the new company CA3 has purchased them it is horrible. Over it!
