It's a decent place for family members & service members to shop, but they seem to have lost its all perfect touch, compared to all other PXs on other bases. It may be one of the biggest there is compared to other bases, but they seem to be losing a lot of the spark it had to have you shop there. At one time, they closed down the phone store they had there, where you could get great deals. The gun counter is rarely open. The stores items are few in-between, its more on the end of shoes and clothes, when they used to have everything. They also added in self checkout now, but that makes it harder for those who use cash, and they have nothing but customer service open to purchase your items.

After serving over 20 yrs in service, I still love going on base to get my hair cut or do some shopping from different stores. My wife and I love getting something to eat while we're in the area.

The store was laid out nice the prices are quite high for the average service person. I use to be married to a active service member and had two children. We could not afford to shop there. There are no cashiers . You have to use self checkout. I hate those things. Makes me not want to go. I stopped going to Walmart for the same reason.

This is a really nice Exchange. They have a good selection of restaurants in the food court. The store is nice with lots of options for clothing and other home goods. They also have a video game store and other shops.

The staff were very helpful and stopped what they were doing to help me and my son find the items he needed.

My experience at the Fort Jackson Post Exchange would have been better, had it not been for Ms. TELICIA!!!!My wife originally tried to use the self checkout. However their registers do not take cash payments.Sooooooo…… We were directed to Customer Service to pay for the items. There we meet Ms. TELICIA!!!! So first of all we get a dry hello from Ms. TELICIA. THEN, my wife pays for the items and after Ms. TELICIA bagged the items, my wife wanted to have the items double bagged. My wife went to grab an extra bag and Ms. TELICIA actually told my wife, “No ma’am no double bagging”.Initially I was surprised however we just smiled and thanked her for her help. And we went to another register and kindly grab that extra bag.So do not go to Customer Service if Ms. TELICIA is there. She’s not Soldier or Veteran friendly.

The prices in here were more reasonable than I expected. It was very crowded though because we were visiting during the soldier's family day and they were not allowed to leave base.

The Post Exchange was smaller than most with limited stores. You can find what you need if in a pinch but I would offer you look elsewhere.

Always a great atmosphere. Can be very busy at times during family visits and graduating battalion groups. Always updating and improving customer experience.

Fort Jackson PX has to be the Biggest and with the most variety that I've ever been to. At that, I went there after Basic Training graduation. It definitely fit the hype that some yt videos billed it as. There are many food options: Burger King, Charley's Cheesesteaks. My family couldn't come, so family of my Platoons friends got me. It was great! You'll love the selection. On Colognes and perfumes.

Great to visit a PX again after 45 years. Although now, it's like any other big box store. But loved tax-free.

Move a class six here. You'll have everything you need under one roof. This exchange is pretty good for an Army PX. There are lots of food options as well.

Decent sized Exchange, the main part itself was spacious and had plenty of stocked shelves. The concessions part outside of it though....kind of a tight fit, especially on Basic Training Family Days when it is absolutely packed. Speaking of which, if you're going to the PX immediately after picking up your Soldier for Family Day, be prepared for a very long wait at the Food Court if you aren't there early.

I was buying a 55” Smart TV and a BOSE Speaker for my van. When I left with the speaker and before driving away I decided to try the BOSE Soeaker but it didn’t work on the equipment I already had. When I took the speaker back to the PX audio video center an employee nick named “D” help me find the necessary items to make my BISE Speaker work. The extra cost was minimal. Thank you Dequasian (sp?).
