A great place to appreciate nature. There is woods and swamp and river but the best is the quiet.

The splash pad is cool 10/10 but can we bring back the pool and hot tub like back in the day? I’m a 1998 baby. I grew up with my parents and family bringing me to the pool. Great vibes it was like a movie! How about bring the pool back and off to the side a splash pad? So we all can enjoy! I get so emotional seeing how things change as the years go by. I read a article it said they closed the pool because a splash pad would be easier to maintain not needing lifeguards which is understandable but I’m sure many who’s in that field will love to come guard at lynches river please keep this in mind for 2024 when you guys open back up.

Nice place .Cannot wait for the Equestrian park to open! We live in pamplico and are so pleased we will have a place to horse camp in Florence county in the fall and winter months. Excited to know if all the horse campsites will all have water and power @ the site? I see that the old camp ground did not have water & power @ all the sites .. Def need power and water on sites with horses. Can't wait to see the horse corrals and all the trails so excited.

Called this morning to see if they were renting Kayaks today. Employee who answered the phone said yes. Got ready and drove an hour to get there. Lady at the desk said her supervisor had just informed her they were NOT renting kayaks today. Awesome ?

A nice park with amenities. Good for a day or weekend in summer. Nice walking/ bike trails. They have a nice nature center with lots of hands on for the kids. River access and canoe/kayak rentals. ($100 deposit). They have a camp ground and archery range (bring your own stuff). A playground with shelters, grills and a rentable large event building. They have a seasonal splash pad and playground for the little ones and a climbing wall opening up this year. They have 2 tiny house style cabins for rent that provide all the dishes, cooking utensils and towels you will need. Just bring food clothes and a little bedding for the loft beds. The cabins do need some TLC but they are homey. They are fair priced but do have a $200 deposit returned at the end. The cabin is pretty secluded. Just to note the property across the river they shoot targets on the weekend at least. Just to note so no one gets surprised if you are a late sleeper or not use to the country. You will also hear gun shots from other neighboring properties at random. But there are free art galleries downtown and places good places to eat downtown about 10 mins away.Playground: They have a playground for smaller and bigger children. And a seasonal splash pad and climbing wallDog-friendliness: There is trails to go that you can take your dog.Picnic area: Shelters, open fields and a rental building for picnics and events.

It's a beautiful park with gorgeous views of the Lynch's River. The trails are nicely maintained. I haven't had a chance to visit the nature center, but it looks lovely. There is lots to do. There are picnic tables, grills, and there's also a campground. It's definitely worth visiting.

Great park we went to splash pad yesterday but didn't like the fact we had to do a bag check and the guy went through my bags to check for idk what. And the handicap parking is a little far but it was a wonderful place. They do get you on you you cannot bring a cooler into splash pad but there are picnic areas close.

Kayaked the Lynches River from the park, where there is a gravel lot close to the water, down to the boat ramp on Hwy 52. About a 2 1/2 hour float with some paddling. Very nice little float.

I can’t count the times we have visited Lynches River State Park. As a family we went for canoe rides (free), had a wedding, church gatherings, several family picnics, swing, watched our young ones enjoy the splash pad, rocked on the rope bridge and dashed through the walking trails.( we made it an adventure & a scavenger hunt). Finally when a break from the outside was needed the education center fed our brains. Fabulous family friendly treasure. Lots to offer with little to zero money.

The trails were very nice and we had a great time. The kids loved the rope bridges. The inside was full of information about so many animals and insects. They were so excited to see the baby alligator swimming around! We want to go back soon to try the splash pad!!
