About Freeport General Store

Freeport General Store is a cute general store and gift shop on the island. It is the only one, so prices are a little higher. It offers a nice selection of drinks, snacks, souvenirs, and pricey gift merchandise. The store has a pretty good variety of items but is greatly lacking in real essentials like sunscreen or medicine. It also features the only gas pump out front for golf carts. The staff is extremely friendly, nice, and helpful.

    Visited here several times while on the island. They have a large selection of staples, but get them when you see them because they sell out fast.
    Their souvenir selection is great and the ladies behind the counter are very helpful.

    The cute cat they take care of on the porch is the cherry on top.

    Got a bad golf cart that kept needed to be restarted for sputtering and jerking but we just made it into a joke.
