Restrooms are available but often closed on Sundays and sometimes have issues like being locked or smelly. Mosquitoes can be a problem during certain times, and the park can get quite hot in summer afternoons. Overall, Timrod Park is a well-loved spot for outdoor activities, family outings, and enjoying nature, though visitors should be aware of restroom accessibility and weather conditions.

Timrod park is absolutely beautiful! I am a photographer and it made for the perfect backdrop for a shoot that day. There’s two bridges, a staircase and beautiful flowers and open area. There’s also a playground for the kids and tennis courts.
