We visited this establishment on November 28, 2024. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience because of a male employee. His customer service was extremely rude for no reason since the beginning. Which caused me to feel very uneasy but unfortunately this was literally the only place open for food on Folly Beach at this time. As we waited for our food, I noticed the employee was kind and friendly with the white people but yet he was unprofessional with us. From what I’ve been told, this isn’t the first time this employee has been rude to black people. I hope the business can address this and prevent similar experiences in the future.

We stayed in a condo for the weekend at Folly Beach and found ourselves at Bert’s 4 different times. I can’t say enough great things about it! They have extensive wine options, everything you need or want for grocery items, and an amazing dessert case. I highly recommend the Mississippi mud pie, the
ookies and cream brownie and the chocolate cake. Next time, we will try a few others as well as their sandwiches and wraps. They are really a fantastic resource just off of Folly Beach!

Having a little bit of everything you need, Bert’s is the best place on Folly! Each time we visit, we find multiple reasons to head to Bert’s. (Including but not limited to the massive danishes)

Wonderful stop! Great variety of fresh produce and bottled drinks. I ordered the veggie melt, and it was delicious and affordable!

Such an amazing little store. They had a delicious portobello mushroom wrap and they had house hold items so I didn't have to leave the island. It was easy to walk to and they have a great selection of drinks. I love supporting local and they're always a pleasure to visit when I'm at folly.
