The Regatta Inn is a modern, clean, and comfortable adult-only waterfront hotel on the quieter side of Folly Beach. Guests consistently describe it as an amazing, exceptional, and perfect place to stay, with many calling it a hidden gem. The staff are repeatedly praised as absolutely amazing, exceptionally kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful, embodying southern hospitality. They make guests feel right at home, valued, and incredibly welcome. The facilities are beautiful, very well maintained, and beautifully decorated. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and safe, often with great water views, and include access to a screened-in deck and an open-air top area. The inn provides a delicious complimentary homemade breakfast each morning and a daily happy hour with snacks, wine, and beer. Additional valuable amenities include free bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and a staff-operated golf cart taxi service. Its awesome location offers beautiful views, is peaceful, and provides easy access to the beach within a three to five minute bike ride or walk. The main strip of shops and restaurants is also conveniently close, just a few minutes away or a thirty-minute walk. While in a higher price band, the experience is widely considered worth it, with many guests sad to leave and already planning return visits. The overall atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, with the occasional bonus of dolphin sightings in the inlet at sunset.
Absolutely lovely place to stay on Folly Beach. We used the bicycles multiple times a day! Kind, gracious staff and BEAUTIFUL views. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved our time at the Regatta Inn and wish we could have stayed longer. From check-in to our departure it was absolutely fantastic. Kim and Ann were always ready to help in any way they could to be sure everything was great from morning breakfast to rides to the beach, they are amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Regatta. We missed it as soon as we left. The breakfast served every morning was outstanding and the management was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!
