“Recently used the Fort Mill MLP location for the first time. I showed up at 11:40 am which is about 20 mins before closing on a Saturday. 2 people were in front of me and 2 people came in behind me. I had quite a few questions and assistance needed to get my quote done for one of my customers. Zach, the only service rep in the office, exhibited great patience, knowledge and genuine care about helping me. Regardless of the time, and others waiting, he got all my questions answered and quote handled and I was on my way. Unfortunately it's unique to find quality service and good people doing their jobs today but Zach is one of those people and represented MLP exceptionally well.”

“I’m actually blown away by this place. They went above and beyond and helping me with my yard.

I needed to sod part of my yard from where contractors killed the grass from some construction we were doing.

I couldn’t get anyone to tell me what kind of grass I have so Super-Sod said that they could match a sample if I brought it in.

So I brought in a sample, ordered the Bermuda grass that they matched, and installed 1000 ft.² of sod.

After the grass came in full, I could tell it was not the same kind of grass. So I called Super-Sod just to see if there’s anything they could do to help me out. They had me send some pictures of the current yard and me installing the sod.

Then they called me back and told me that they were sorry that they mismatched our grass and they were going to send a landscaping team out to tear out all the Bermuda sod and put in the Zeon Zoysia sod to match what I have.

I honestly thought I was just gonna have to deal with two types of grass in my front yard. I really didn’t expect the customer care and support that they provided. It’s actually blown me away.

I’m really thankful for their service.

It has blended in really well with the grass. It’s already been there for many years.

When I first came in this spring, it had several round brown circles in the yard. I think it was from me over watering it.

I just stood the course, watered it, allowed it to grow and fill in and it’s done exactly that. This stuff seems to thrive in the heat.

Still 5 stars for me.

Also… this is the best grass. I don’t know why it’s not more popular here in SC.”

“Pike Nursery (Ballantyne) is above in quality, variety and most of all customer service! My appreciation list is long and I'm blessed to have the pleasure of chatting with Lao and Pat! I wanted a particular plant (won't say name because I'm selfish). Lao searched then called when plant arrived and it arrived beau-tee-full! It took knowing my husband was on my shoulder not to purchase another! The customer service far exceeds by providing recommendations and plant care advice! The house plants are taken care of like spoiled and beautiful children! They are my favorite forever!!! Kudos and hugs to Lao and Pat!”

“I bought my Zoysia sod here 2 years ago. Since then I have followed the Premium Program guide this store provides for each type of grass they sell. In 2 two years time my new construction lawn turned into arguably the best yard in the neighborhood. These people are good, honest, experienced people, and they will only sell you what you need. I would suggest seeking their advice when you go. I've learned a lot from the people here.”

“As I was walking down the aisle two friendly customer service representatives came by and asked if I needed any help. Their smiles made me feel welcome and I appreciated their offer. I did need something specific: a three-step ladder with a safety cuff at the bottom. This kind of ladder is important because it helps keep me safe while I'm using it.

After looking around a bit more I finally found exactly what I was looking for. The ladder was just the right size and had the safety features I needed. It felt great to find the right item especially with the help of the friendly staff. It made my shopping experience a lot easier and more pleasant.”

“My boyfriend and me just closed on a new house and I needed a TON of paint! Huge shout out to Brooklyn for directing me in the right direction. I had two nice gentlemen help me at the mix station and reccomend styles. Then Brooklyn was so kind to scan all my cans and help load my cart back up. “I'm giving a 4 because this is better than your average Home Depot. Selection like any HD is massive and you can get even more inventory delivered to the store. Prices for most items are not the cheapest but certain items are actually quite solid for example Round Up while others are gauging like shelf liners. They are always well stocked and never have been out of the item I needed. Most departments (most) I was able to get good help quickly often just from a friendly associate walking by (not the case in places like NY, NJ, CA, south Florida or even Georgia). Cons: One area that we got no help ever was blinds / curtains, etc. the back left side of the store can be a ghost town of employees but everywhere else I always found one easily. selection of connectors for washers, dryers, etc was pretty limited.”

“Great service & selection. Comparing side by side w/Lowe's app & HD wins on price most of the time. My last order was $20 & I got free delivery! From Door Dash! AND, no tip request. I was gobsmacked.”

“I am very surprised by the bad reviews. The store is not the issue, if anything. Yes, Home Depot delivery is contracted out. So maybe it's a hit or miss. I have been using this store for over 20 years. I do not think it is a 2-star store. The people at the store will help you when you ask. Yes, sometimes they are short-staffed. That is the world we live in. I feel they do a good job compared to many of them. I will keep using this Home Depot store, and when I do have an issue they will make it okay in the end, they have always fixed it in the long run. I do find that I have gotten a lot more done with honey than with the whip.”
