Lula McCoy helped me to find out my card was compromised. Derek at the credit union fraud line, confirmed my card was deactivated to prevent money being taken from my account. I've been stuck overseas and in the middle of panic, the Goose Creek and Mt.Holly office had me back up and running quickly! Today, we received a call that the signature on a check someone was cashing had a signature that didn't quite look right, so they called to verify. While I was waiting for Tammy to finish with another customer, I had the chance to meet Candice, the branch manager. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She answered so many of my questions before my appointment even began!
Tammy then made opening my business checking account seamless. She not only helped me get everything set up, including checks, the app, online banking, my debit card, and my deposit, but she also provided a lot of helpful education along the way so I understood everything and felt confident moving forward.
I also really appreciated that when I called ahead, the team made sure I knew exactly which documents to bring. (No wasted time or surprises)
I’m excited to bank with SouthState, especially with their entry-level business checking account that has no minimum balance or maintenance fees, which is a real benefit to a smaller business owner’s bottom line. Yay!

“Tbh I only went to Dunkin because the pet store wasn't open yet. But I worked out and didn't have any breakfast and was taking my dog to get a bath so I figured I would stop and get something to eat. This new sandwich is super good like I could probably eat it every day, I didn't look at the ingredients I'm not a fan of everything bagel topping so next time I will mention to not have that, but they're very generous with all the ingredients and for a nice change someone pleasant was at the window. I stopped coming to this one because they were two different people which is sad to say they were always in the window and were not very pleasant, but today was a great experience. I still don't care for the iced coffee. I've tried to doctor it up I guess I'm just too picky but I'm glad that there's more yummy things on the menu snacking bacon was my favorite go to.”
