Lidl has been providing high-quality groceries at low prices since 1973. The company successfully operates about 11,200 stores across 32 countries and opened its first stores in the U.S. in 2017. Customers can find local produce, fresh meats and seafood, imported cheeses, European pastries, and weekly surprises at unbelievably low prices. The bakery is a highlight, offering fresh-baked goods, including German bread. The fruit and vegetables are also great, and the selection is typical for Lidl. Although some prices may not be suitable for low-income customers, the overall quality and value make Lidl a popular choice. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, well-stocked shelves, and clean stores contribute to a positive shopping experience, leading many customers to visit Lidl on a regular basis.

Lidl is a bit more upscale than its sister Aldi...bigger, more brand named items...bakery has some good breads at great prices and Lidl has many more housewares, tools and miscellaneous odds and ends as well as wines and name brand beers.
