I was interested in finding a good kibble for my 4 month old Black Goldendoodle puppy Chance. I called them up and they told me all about their food and asked about my dog and recommended food choices. I was told to come visit them and to pick up a sample of their food to see if Chance liked it. I made my way to their store with Chance in hand and was greeted very warmly. They loved on Chance and even let him sniff around and pick out his turkey foot that he just loved to chew on.He loved the food and a week later I bought some. We slowly transitioned him to their food from what he was currently on. He was doing ok on it until the day came that he received their food for his first full meal. He started to get an upset stomach and by the next day had a very smelly accident in his crate, which he never had before.I reached out to Pet Wants and Bree responded within the hour. She asked some questions about what was going on and then advised me to give him a little pumpkin, which helped. The next day I called Bree and we talked through what may be causing the issue. She was so genuine and cared so much, investing time, knowledge and energy into my pup. She then brought a new food option and a probiotic for his stomach to my house. What great care and customer service!Bree, Pet Wants GVL will always have our business, thank you so much for your care. I quickly found that paws and claws had a location right next to Leo’s vet and made an appointment asap. Leo was very nervous at first from a previous experience with an entirely different company. He warmed up very well in this environment and the staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable about him. When I picked him up he looked the best he ever had. Crystal did an AMAZING job, she listened to all of my concerns and was very attentive and spot on with what we were looking for. I love that this establishment also offers treats and toys as we always buy a little snack before we leave. I also really love that they have snacks that are ingredient conscious as my previous dog was diabetic and I really pay attention to sugar. Super easy and convenient to rebook at pickup. We had the best experience and LOVE them! Highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Do your own research and learn from experienced owners and you'll do fine. Fish, reptiles, and birds are the main ones I am thinking of when I say this. They have several items I will never buy; they look good to us humans but are not good for our pets. (Rope toys, bell toys, bird mirrors, electric heat rocks, plastic fish tank decor--to name a few.)
I was looking for a female cockatiel but didn't want to have to drive all the way to Charlotte to pick one up from the airport and haven't seen any good listings online but I found one here. Just from initial observation she isn't scared of people and that's one of the main things I was looking for. The person at the register said they don't clip wings, so she probably came from Sun Pet in Georgia with her wings already clipped. I think when she molts and grows them back in, she'll be getting around fine. I'm just glad I noticed so I could keep her in a smaller cage until she can get around better. She kind of hates hands but not terribly so, with some work, she is going to be a sweetheart. I got her Sunday, it's only Tuesday and she's already trusting me and letting me pet her. I've had birds on and off for over 15 years and kept fish over 10 years. The Angelfish in the picture came from this store over a year ago and is still thriving.

This is the 2nd time Tux, my 6 year old Shih Tzu has seen Dr. Caldwell. We had some skin issues our first trip which he explained and we took care of. This was his annual exam. I can't begin to tell you how thorough and gentle he was in his exam. All was explained while I was in the room . So happy we found this office and I would highly recommend it.

It is not an exaggeration to say that going to visit Gary and his furry friends is our dog Rudy's absolute favorite thing in the world. In her non-camp life, she is a pretty anxious animal who does not generally get along great with other dogs, but she leads a different life at Gary's. His home where he keeps the animals is fairly modest looking from a human perspective--not corporate in any respect--but from all that I have seen over the years, it looks like an amusement park to a dog. He will go to any lengths make an animal feel at home, and he has often even let Rudy sleep in his, much to her delight. I can't think of any business that I would give a higher rating than Augusta Road Pet Hotel. It has meant so much to our family to know that when we travel, our animals will be well taken care of and happy.

Even though I stopped in about 20 minutes before closing, the staff were super friendly and attentive. I ordered the half chicken, green beans, and sweet potato fries.
The chicken was great, witha ton of flavor and wasn't even slightly dry. The beans were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The sweet potato fries were great on flavor, but we're a little soggy by the time I got back to the hotel. I would only suggest those if you were dining in. Overall, it was a great meal and I wouldn't hesitate to return if in the area again.
