The prices were great, they had a good variety, but our favorite thing was the old time feel. It wasn’t modernized, it honestly reminded me of the feed stores I used to go in with my mom when I was a child 23 years ago. The people were all so kind, we will definitely be back.

212 North Poinsett Highway, Travelers RestYesterday, I took my pup to a local vet because he had an embedded dewclaw in his paw pad. After spending $259, I was told that he didn’t like being restrained and was sent home with Gabapentin and Trazodone. I was then told I could either try to cut the dewclaw myself or bring him back and pay another $109–$326, depending on whether the medications calmed him enough or if he needed to be sedated. Needless to say, I was pretty upset and wasn’t comfortable with either option.
I called The Doggie Parlor and explained what had happened. From the moment I spoke with them, they were so caring, understanding, and reassuring. She told me, “Don’t drug your baby up. Just bring him to me.” ❤
They were absolutely AMAZING! She took her time getting him comfortable and never rushed him. Once he was on the table, she let him sniff her hands and the clippers so he could get familiar with everything. She went slowly, talked to him the entire time, and even gave him little breaks between trims to help ease his anxiety.
And you know what? He did SO well! He wasn’t nearly as anxious as we expected, and she was able to take care of his dewclaw without having to drug or sedate him.
She told me to bring him back anytime and didn’t even charge me! 🥹❤
We will DEFINITELY be back! If you have a timid, nervous, or anxious fur baby, I highly recommend The Doggie Parlor. They truly take the time to make your babies feel safe, comfortable, and loved. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals in their care, and that means everything to a worried mama! 🐾❤

6704 State Park Road, Travelers RestI can’t begin to describe how much our family loves TRAH. The amount of love and care they put into our babies is like no other. The vet techs here are truly amazing, and Dr. Will is the absolute best. The way he has cared for both of our dogs over the years has made us incredibly thankful. Our girl, Coco, went through double TPLO surgeries, and Dr. Will walked us through the process every step of the way. He was also there for us through the complications that came up, and we always knew she was in good hands. Plus the communication was top tier.
We had to say goodbye to our girl last week due to Hemangiosarcoma and we’ve been reflecting on how grateful we are for the care she received throughout her life. I cannot recommend TRAH enough. They will love and care for your babies more than you could even have hoped for.

6 Pne Hl Dr, Travelers RestWe just want to give an enormous shout out to The Dog Wizard for helping us to train our high energy/stubborn blue heeler to be able to negotiate going through doorways along with our other dog, without fighting and rushing through us, so that we could quietly and safely let them out down a lot of stairs. We learned how to get her to walk on leash better, and to have her stay in place, and “leave it”. We did add several lessons using an E-Collar, which helps a LOT. We especially want to recognize Meg, who was our trainer. She is awesome and was very thorough and patient in her training, sending us follow-up emails to compliment the training we did each week. She was also proactive in training us in techniques we might need to use as we continue the training on our own in the future. Being able to have a trainer come to our house was key. Although our dog did well in a basic group training situation at a facility, it wasn’t enough for some problems that only happen at home. So we are grateful that Meg was there to help us through those issues.

2 S Main St, Travelers RestWe stopped by this spot after riding bikes from downtown Greenville. It was cute how you order from the vintage bus! My husband and I weren't actually hungry, but I couldn't pass up trying a crepe. The banana Nutella crepe was amazing!! I also ordered an iced mocha, and I didn't really care for it, but the crepe earned a 5 star review.

I am a sweet wine drinker, so the strawberry was my favorite! My fiance & mother loved all the dryer wines they tried too. The couple that owns the place were extremely kind, friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable! & their dog roams around and hangs with you!!! I really highly recommend coming here and supporting their little winery:)

Upscale without feeling pretentious, and the menu was imaginative and delicious. We might be ruined for all future fine dining. Definitely go here. Mikayla was our server and she was fantastic…they even did a custom anniversary menu and sign which was so sweet!
