“Hi, I have a 1979 AMC Jeep CJ7. I’ve owned her for 44 years. For the last three years I was overseas and placed her in storage. Upon returning some of the gaskets ,oil pan, main bearing seals, had gone bad. I called a half dozen places in the Greenville and surrounding area, no one would do the job due to age. I usually do my own work but due to health issues I can no longer work on her. A respected friend told me to go to Chans transmissions. So glad I followed his advice. They needed the vehicle a few days and they gladly agreed to keep her stored inside during the overnight stays. Cassey was great to work with, they are extremely professional keeping me informed of progress. I had found one other place in Pickens that works only on jeeps, their work failed after two days when I ultimately found Chans. I cannot communicate how happy I am with Chans work, not one drop of oil on the ground three days later!! I’ve had 4 wives and one faithful jeep. She was with me during many military transfers during a 38 year career. A sincere thank you to the owners and staff at Chans, I am sooo happy my girl is no longer bleeding. ? I will only use Chans for any future work needed. High quality work, honest, reliable, stand by their work, professional!”

Needed a transmission fluid change for my 2016 Acura RDX.
I had not gotten a quote from the dealership, however I estimate that the charge would've been $200-400. I understand they have higher labor costs, and they're definitely not ripping me off. However, money is a bit tight right now. Hemley did it for $140+$9 card fee. Janice is super knowledgable and professional. As far as the results of the work, my car which was experiecing minor judder/shudder. Is shifting perfectly now, it feels like my CRV w/CVT now. So that tells me the change was done perfectly. I will be taking my Odyssey to get its transmission fluid changed, and my CRV when the time comes. Also with any major repairs/maintenance items that are required.
I was in and out in under 30 minutes, which is excellent for a transmission fluid change. Waiting and reception area was extremely clean, coffee and beverages were provided as well, along with entertainment.”

“I came in with a problem. Bruce drove it a short distance & identified my problem as a worn out clutch. He did not charge me for identifying the problem. Another business wanted to charge just for the discovery of the problem. All Trans quoted a price about $800 less than the other shop. It was fixed sooner than they first thought & the price was exactly what was quoted. I trust them completely & am so pleased. I will recommend them. They are professional, knowledgeable, kind, & expert at what they do.”
