“Earlier this summer I needed to purchase a new push lawn mower. After looking in all the normal places I became frustrated by the ridiculous prices of new mowers. I made a search for used mowers and found Home Improvement Outlet, Greenville. I drove up there and found the had a large selection of Toro push and self propelled hand mowers and a few Troy Bilt mowers. I selected a very clean nice Toro mower and purchased it for well under retail cost. I took it home, gassed it and tried unsuccessfully to start it numerous times. I spent some time trouble shooting the problem and determined the carburetor was clogged up. I called the outlet and spoke with Laura, the manager. She was very nice, apologized for my trouble and said bring it back for either a refund or a replacement mower. I brought it back, knowing I had seen a second identical mower in the store, but it was gone by the time I got there. I found a more expensive Troy Bilt mower that I really liked, so I brought it to the front desk, told Laura it was a bit more money and she said she could approve the exchange at no extra cost to me. THAT is great service and good business. I will be back whenever I need something else they carry and I've already recommended the outlet to a couple of other people. They are lucky to have a business smart, polite, nice manager like Laura. You rarely find that combination these days!”
“I had a prescription at CVS that was time sensitive and out of stock.
They 1) did not let me know it was out of stock. 2) I couldn’t get a real person on the phone. And 3) they were rude when I went down there to see why it was ordered and fulfilled or transferred.
I called Costco and immediately got a real person on the phone. Not only did they answer on the second ring, every time, but they arranged the switch, filled the prescription in 10 minutes, and were super nice about the whole thing.
All of our meds will be transferred to Costco.”
“I can truly say this is a great store with extremely caring leaders. I had an issue tonight at the register. It was a mis understanding and I really took offense to the issue. I asked for a manager and became way too frustrated, it was not fair to the store team. The way the manager Robert handled the situation was extraordinary, he humbled me and also peacefully resolved the issue.
By the end of the transaction he had every right to just get me out of the store, but he did the exact opposite. He walked with me and my kids in the rain and provided an umbrella. He even got my daughter ice cream while we waited to go to the car because of the rain.
I am completely embarrassed for how I handled my issue. I am beyond grateful to Robert and his whole team! I didn’t deserve his patience and his caring and loving attitude.
This is a great man and leader!”

“So, if you don't know...the best way to do Sam's Cub is through their plus membership. With this plus, you just open the app, go to fuel, scan the qr code on the pump, and follow the instructions. It is at the very least twice as fast. No swipping, no waiting, no holding up everyone else (maybe I shouldn't say it that way); I'm just trying to get my point across. And when you are done, the receipt is sent to you. You just feel like a VIP...especially when you see others doing the whole song and dance to get started, and you got started after them, and start pumping before them, leading to finishing so far ahead of them that you don't even see them finish...lol...Sams should pay me for this review, cause plus membership bout to go up. And I didn't even talk about in store perks...I never had any problems with gas there, and I couldn't take a pic of it to show the quality, and my car doesn't talk about it.Keep it up Sammy!”
