“The check engine light came on in our SUV while on vacation. The woman I spoke to at Autozone on January 14th, 2026 said she could scan the codes and look up what they mean. I arrived at Autozone and she did everything quickly and was very friendly. The results said I could drive it further without damage but should listed what needs to be replaced and what needs to be done. I didn’t have time on vacation to address the items that day but will definitely buy the parts from Autozone. I highly recommend this Autozone location.”
“This store went above and beyond to help my son. Rebekah Tucker was amazing I can’t say enough good things about her and her team. My son traveled to Hilton head on his actual birthday and then the battery light came on. He did not shut the car off until he got to the store thankfully. They determined he needed an alternator. He thought since the car started again. He was safe to drive to his hotel but he didn’t get but a block or two down the road, and the car died in the middle of the road. I called the store to let them know and they took the time to go find him and get him in the car back to the store. Not a way you wanna spend your birthday obviously. They had the part in stock and while they were waiting on a Mobile Mechanic to come one of the employees started to work on the car for him. Even charging the battery while it was being fixed. It took a while but they got him fixed and on his way. This mom felt so much at ease knowing they were being so helpful and kind to him. Any time we called the store they were always polite and answered all our questions. Never felt like we were annoying them by calling so much. Give Rebekah and that team member a raise!! Next time we are in HH we will be sure to stop in and thank them again in person. ??????”

“The quality of work, the value pricing, communication from the owner was simply fantastic. I took my car to Davis for a 2nd opinion after a quote from another body shop on Hilton Head Island. The other place wanted over $6,000 and Gene Davis’ shop did the work perfectly for less than my insurance deductible. This shop maybe the only honest body shop I’ve ever been to. I could not be more pleased and I saved a ton of money and got a perfect job. My name is Mack Davis ( no relation to the owner) and I’ve lived in Hilton Head Island for close to 20 years. I will never go anywhere again other than Davis.
