“I came in late on Friday evening with the store closing in 10 minutes looking for a new release. Strike one - yeah I know - bad on my part but figured would be in and out. I was looking for a new CD - yes, an outdated format that I still love but their app said they had it and I was on vacation looking to grab it in an actual store rather than online. The CD was Tori Amos’ In Times Of Dragons.
Looked in her possible sections and the new release end cap but didn’t see it. I went to the front counter looking for assistance and found a very nice and kind young lady who said she was in training. As a former retail manager and trainer - I immediately slipped back into old familiar territory and helped guide her to help me. Her assistance in helping me was wonderful and I appreciate her eagerness to help me find it.
She asked who I assumed to be her manager to help us and the manager quickly found it. I was impressed by her speed in locating it as all of this concluded before the store closed.
