“We were leaving our dog with the Doggy Day Care next door. When reviewing his paperwork, we discovered his rabies shot had expired and he would not be allowed to stay without receiving a new one. The hospital took him in and gave him the vaccine and then delivered him to their day-care center. Saved our round of golf that day! Thank you for your quick service to make our day. Golf sucked...but that's another story...”
“Our dog developed serious issues within a day. We called the heritage office and got in after their regular visits. They thoroughly examined our dog and gave us special food and medicine. Our dog improved overnight and was nearly normal after 1 day. Thank you so much for your care and attention.”

“Been with Dr. Dixon for 12 years. He and his staff have always been great! I would like to comment on the "one star" review below. So, her vet was closed and had no "after hours" number. She called another vet who refused to help. (Probably because they didn't know the animal or it's condition and didn't want the liability if something went wrong) She then called Dr. Dixon and expected him to ......1. Come in after hours. 2.See a dog that he didn't treat before. 3. Treat a dog that some other vet let get some sort of infection. SERIOUSLY??? Get a grip woman.”

“Our vet was out of town on Friday and our sweet girl dog had what we thought was a UTI. We called Hilton Head Vet and they scheduled an appointment for us that day. Even though we were not on of their patients. They could not have been kinder to us. The receptionist was friendly and made such a great impression on us. The vet tech loved on our pup and thoroughly explained what she was doing. Dr. Mcginnis took a lot of time helping us and our pup. We so appreciated all they did for us!”
