“Wow. Where do I begin? My wife and I had a car crash on I-85 that totaled her car. We were both taken to the trauma center, and after about two hours, we were released. Now what? Our car was at a recovery lot and we wanted to retrieve our belongings from her car. I called Hart Towing and Recovery to see if they would be open at about 6:00 pm. Mike Hart, the owner, answered the phone and told us that they were open 24/7. I told him who I was, and that we’d like to get our stuff. He asked how we were going to get there. I told him that I had called an Uber to take us there. He said “Nah, don’t bother with that. I’ll come and pick you up. And then what are you going to do?” I said we’d take an Uber from his shop to a hotel about an hour away, and our son from Chicago was flying in and would pick us up at the hotel. Again he said, “hold on, I’ll drive you to the hotel.” Say what?? So, Mike picked us up at the hospital, drove us to his lot, and he and Richie emptied our wrecked car into his car, and off we went to the hotel, again, about an hour away from his shop. When we got there, he unloaded all of our stuff onto a cart and brought it into the lobby of the hotel. Then he drove another hour to get back. I offered him whatever, but he just said “write me a good review.” Well, Mike, I hope that this is good enough. While I wouldn’t wish what happened to us to happen to anyone else, at least if you’re in the Greenville/Spartanburg SC area and need help, Hart Towing and Recovery is the place to call.”

“We were in a crash on the afternoon of July 3rd, on the busy holiday weekend, and needed a tow from the crash site on the highway. Tim came to do the tow and he very kindly went out of his way to get us to a car rental place, spending more than 30 minutes driving us as there were very limited rental car locations with availability. He made calls himself to try to help us find a rental car, and got us back on the road and on our way to our vacation, despite a really challenging experience. He was especially kind to our 8 year old son who was understandably upset about the crash, and he was the silver lining to the car crash experience for us!
