I literally hate this bank! Every time I go here there’s a problem with the system. It’s crazy that we’re in the year 2024 and this bank system crashes. No other institutions have these problems. It’s utterly ridiculous. This bank is out dated and the fact that customers have to walk out do to a system failure is absurd in 2024. Do better TRUIST!

Rosa was very helpful, kind and accommodating when I walked into her branch and needed the assistance of a notary. I was in the process of selling my home and she took care of me and my family providing utmost support. Thank you so much for seeing us in such short notice.

My branch is in Lexington, SC but can never get them to pick up or return my calls. Every time I call the Irmo branch, someone picks up and I get a call back if they can't help me. Just heard back from the Irmo Branch Manager, Rosa Miller! She answered my questions and gave me excellent customer service! She is awesome and I appreciate the great service she and her staff gives me!!!

When cashing my check I was told by Andria and Goldie that I was unable to because it wasn't a truist check when I called truist and spoke to a supervisor they told me they had lied. And I should be able to cash any check being a member. Rude and horrible customer service

Rude rude manager here. We were with BB and T for 20 years before they did their Wall Street monopoly merger. Closing the account. It’s that bad. Trash customer service from the local branches and foreign call centers when you try to call.

The teller/banker Ezgee is a rude, condescending person who doesn't deserve to be in the forefront of any customer service relations. I came in to deposit a check for my broker and she instead of coming feom contribution and assisting she spoke at me and not to me, rolled her eyes and presented herself in a non polite way. I would never bank here.

Terrible bank! They gave out my personal info to the local powers that be. They give people access to your account then the town preys on you and rob u blind! They went through my account accessed artist 50 cents account and stole 16 million dollars through deposits he made to me. His attorneys in court to get his money back.This town Irmo is sick. They tore up a grocery store they were so angry about a low income apartment that was built in the town. The store was so beautiful before they destroyed it the Kroger grocery store in Irmo looks terrible now. This is how dss in Lexington knew I was getting social security for my daughter now they are payee since they kidnapped her 18 months ago haven't seen or talked to since got my new bank closing my account soon

This bank is great the staff is put under so much pressure because of the systems going down and learning new systems that are being changed by Truist , and the staff still has a smile on there face , they are doing the best they can to serve us under the circumstances cause it’s out of their control . We as customers need to give them grace.

4 months now it takes me 30 mins inside to make a deposit. No one seems to know what they are doing. Under staffed apparently, all the good team members have left. This branch is horrible. Customers can’t wait this long to make a deposit. Pretty sad to see how this branch had gone down. Banked here for years.

Ever since this bank changed, the drivethru banking has been such a disaster. What used to be 5 to 7 minutes in the bank line, is now 27 minutes. This would be the second time I went to another bank. Not cool at all.

Google shows weekday opening is 8:30AM but the bank actually opens at 9:00AM. Two of us customers were there this morning at 8:30 because of this error. Fix your hours on Google. It’s not hard to do.

BB&TbIrmo South Carolina is working with corrupt judges in Lexington county SC, it 10:40am, 6/3/20201 this bank has voicemail saying we are closed and open at 8:30am... Weird, very unknowledgeable about automated system. Sensitive women working, instead of doing there job they desire to disccuss personal preferenceces as related to conducting business verbally.??? Terrible experience leaving asap!

BB&T is criminal with their fees. Conversely, I have had a *great* experience with Chase, despite the fact that they don't yet have branches in Columbia. Do not open an account at BB&T unless you like to donate your money to the bank in the form of fees and excessive charges. They might have a small-town feel, but this is not your friendly, neighborhood banker. Nor are they a national bank that can leverage economies of scale. They occupy the mediocre, lukewarm spot in the middle. Avoid at all costs.
