“"Overwhelm" arrived while I was downsizing with one hand and hauling stuff in from a family home with the other. Boxes, furniture, stuff was everywhere! Decades of it. I decided to free myself by clearing out and transforming the new smaller space. It was scary. The search began for the right person to accomplish the goal of intentionally creating a haven. And, helping me let go of the physical stuff.
Upon meeting Kim Benson, I took an immediate like to her. Kim accepted the organize and re-create challenge.
The blues and greens on the walls came from a favorite rock. My heart's desire, deep drawers in the bathroom, magically blended in without construction. Ambient light. The eyesore of a fireplace's makeover is nothing short of amazing. There's a Rod Stewart trading card. The house is easy to keep straight. Kim decoupaged quotes inside the night table drawer. The pottery collection has never looked so beautiful. Kim found, and repaired, a Japanese goddess mask. Shelving units were added to closets.
You get the idea. It was a huge transformation. You'll like Kim, too.”
“I discovered this delightful gift shop about a month ago. At that time, there was a large assortment of merchandise ranging from baby clothes, to ladies pajamas, kitchen novelties, artwork, and of course, Christmas merchandise that was both unique and reasonably priced. The owner is lovely - friendly, helpful and flexible. Wonderful place for unique gifts.”

I had to give a rating (which was really not appropriate for the situation since my comment had to do with a heads-up that the store comes up in a thrift shop search but mis-classified). More of an antique store. Actually classified in Google search as furniture store, but definitely would not call it thrift-shop furniture. I will read descriptions more thoroughly from now on just to save time. If I were looking for nice furniture (instead of downsizing) this would be on the list.”

“Absolutely love this shop! It's about an hour drive for me, but so worth it. It has a diverse offering of quality, well-priced items, and the displays are lovely and ever-changing. There is something for everyone and for all age groups. Speciality clothing, wreaths, jewelry, stationary, journals, garden /home decor, seasonal ornaments as well as one-of-a-kind, handmade pottery, handbags, and candle displays- just to name a few of the items I saw on my excursion this afternoon. If you enjoy finding something "special," this shop is for you.”
“I went there today to get a sofa table, wow what a selection! So I picked out a sofa table I liked and the sales woman when I mentioned giving it home in a box and trying to put it together would be difficult for me! So she says to me if you pay for it first we'll put it together for you which they did and did a great job! So when they were putting it together I walked around the store this store has unbelievable selection of everything in great quality! So as I can say is I had a great experience I got at home being a senior citizen be about a half hour to get it into the home and set it up and now I couldn't be happier! If you're looking for furniture indoor or outdoor this is the place to go also have a lot of other things there that I'm going to go back and buy.”
“I love me some Hobby Lobby. My husband and I found some cute pictures, and new baby girlie decor for my newest Grandaugter Eden's Nursery Room. . The other section I fancied was the Log Cabin Lodge/ Bear Themes. We also purchashed a Grizzly Bear Light Cover Switch Plate for our bedroom. We will be bk to get more goodies like switch plate covers, pictures for our room soon. We have the whole entire Log Cabin Wood Panels Bedroom Suite I just purchased brand new in May that it will go perfect with.”

“I paid over $300 at Michael’s to have my law school diploma framed. Then I found the framing service at Carolina Pottery. She still hand cuts her mats (a rare thing & definitely not done at Michael’s). She did a custom wood frame with double mat & two cuts (2 separate documents) and the total cost was under $100!!! It looks better than what I paid $300 for elsewhere. I will never take my framing elsewhere as long as she is still working at Carolina Pottery!”
