So. Quiet. We love visiting here when we simply need some quiet time to get out and enjoy nature. If you like going for walks outdoors and enjoy wildlife, this is a great place to visit.

Fabulous hike through a remote, peaceful area of South Carolina.Flat terrain with expansive views all around for much of the hike.I was the only person there for a few hours on a Sunday morning.The road in and out is a little bumpy and quite narrow but if you drive slowly you'll be fine.

From Audubon's Silver Bluff Center and Sanctuary
Audubon’s Silver Bluff Sanctuary is a 3,400-acre woodland overlooking the Savannah River. Here you’ll find extensive pine forests and bottomland hardwood forests; 22 miles of horse and walking trails; 50 acres of lakes and ponds; 100 acres of grassland; and all manner of birds and wildlife. Underfoot there are archaeological sites from nearly every period in American history.
Silver Bluff is free to the public during general hours.
