I rate my first experience a 4. My son recommended Paul's so I decided to start with an oil change. Everything was good, i only had to schedule an appointment bc when I called on Thursday, gentleman said oil change is done on 1st come 1st serve basis. I was under impression that meant be the first one there without an appointment. Anyway please make an appointment to keep you from a second trip. Luckily I was off on Monday and was able to get work done. Took about an 1hr.

I went to this location about two years ago for an alignment, which they couldn’t do bc I had broken tie rods…so I paid to have the tie rods fixed and the alignment…well I kept going through tires every 6 months and so I went back in for another alignment, to then be told my tie rods were broke again and that I needed struts too, therefore they couldn’t do the alignment until I at least got my tie rods fixed. I am not a person with a lot of money at all so it took me several months to save up the money for the tie rods…I had a friend replace my breaks and he said that he didn’t think my tie rods needed to be replaced…a week later I took my car to have the tie rods replaced, after they looked at my car they said I didn’t need new tie rods but I still needed the struts…I was confused bc 6 months prior they were willing to take almost $500 from me to have all this done…then when I said to just do the alignment, they said I would have to replace the struts…which was quoted at over $1000…they would have literally robbed me 6 months ago if I would have had the money to have the work done…I will never be going back to this place…

I have truly loved each experience I’ve had at Paul’s! Everyone is kind, informative, and helpful. They are efficient and fairly priced. I look forward to continuing to bring my Audi Q5 to Paul’s!!!

I called the shop on Friday to have both the windows on my truck fixed. I was informed that the parts needed for the repair were not on site, but they could be brought in the following day. Since the Saturday hours are short I just opted to set an appointment for Monday morning 8 A.M. When I arrived on Monday morning, I walk into the front door and say "hello, I'm here for my 8 o'clock appointment." The man at the front desk then informs me that no appointment has been made, but tells me that he can put me in the system right now. I was very frustrated, but needed my truck fixed quick so I gave him my info and told him exactly what was going on. He told me that I will be charged a $150 fee for diagnosing the issue and how to go about the repair, despite me telling them exactly what the problem was and exactly what work I wanted done. I figured that this was something any shop would charge me anyways so I agreed. I was then told that the parts would need to be brought in from another site and would arrive sometime in the afternoon, so I took an uber home and waited for a call to let me know that my truck was done. I get a call at 4:42 P.M (18 minutes before the shop closes!) Informing me that my truck was finished about 2 hours ago and is ready for pickup. Traffic was pretty bad at this time and there was no way I was going to make it to the shop in time before closing, so I was forced to leave my truck overnight and pick it up in the morning. Super super frustrating!! I picked my truck up the following morning and was finally done with it.As far as the work done to my truck, it was fine. Everything works as it should, and was put together properly. To sum all this mess up:I was told I had an appointment for Monday and that the parts needed for my repair would be at the site. This was a lie. I was charged a $150 diagnosis fee even though I accurately told them exactly what was wrong and exactly what work I wanted done, and I was not notified of my truck being finished until 18 minutes before closing, forcing me to leave it overnight and picked up the following day. I will never do business with this location ever again, and would not recommend to anyone else.

Any questions or concerns regarding my vehicles are taken care of by Paul’s Car Care Center. They have always been honest with me and never throw in unnecessary expenses on fixes that don’t need fixing. I’m glad to have a group of honest mechanics to go to.

A horrible experience at 8:00 a.m. walking through the door I knew something was not correct BY MY GUT FEELINGS, just THE an eye contact and seconds, to respond to me as the customer, things did not feel right , I did not feel comfortable especially sitting there for an hour and I had to look for my service writer (THE MAN WITH HORRIBLE ATTITUDES, A guy with the black hat glasses and a beard, it was a loaded,) Pick what you want fixed then a strong arm on belittling me with DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING, The bill was over $1,400. IF you are looking for answers they have multiple answers for you to solve the problem on your car I highly Do not RECOMMEND .

I was in and out. Service was fast and friendly. I received an oil change. This is my second visit. I'm still a "new" customer, but I will return again. I just hope they update their waiting area by my next visit.

Daughter’s car broke down on campus at CSU. First time caller to Paul’s auto care. Jack was great. Honest. Had no idea what the issue was, had car towed over there and headed down with my wife, 3 1/2 hours away in 2 cars. Daughter had to have one to get to school and work. By Columbia, they sent me an estimate, much better than I was expecting. I called and explained my situation, 2 cars on the road, Jack said he would make it happen today. Left one car in Columbia and drove down. Daughters car was finished by 5pm and for less than the estimate that I had already agreed to pay. They have our business for as long as my daughter is thereService: General repairs & maintenance

They fool women at this place! They took me for most of my money. After telling them to check one tire, brake, they did all 4 and lines!! Then had the nerve to say well I've already made one other person mad today! ? I'm going disability, i had to file because of a brain injury. I don't make money lm still waiting on my first disability check to come in! I told him 1 tire only. He did what he wanted and did not care! I won't go back.

They were able to squeeze us in last minute a few days before a weekend road-trip when our truck started making a rattling sound. Turned out to be a minor fix they took care of in no time. Which was great news! But the peace of mind was priceless!

Nice to your face but quick to rip you off. Been there 2 times for the same problem. $400 later the problem is not fixed. Was lied to and swindled. Will make sure no one I know ever steps foot here.

I’d like to preface that the workers were extremely kind and they got my car able to shift again. However, I asked them to take a look at my A/C in addition just to see what the issue could be that it was having and they failed to tell me up front that it would cost me $200 for it. When I arrived to pick up my car, I told the worker I wasn’t informed up front that an A/C diagnosis cost that much. He kindly explained to me why, after the fact, but had I been told when I dropped it off I wouldn’t have asked them to look at it. I expected them not to charge me for it because it was their wrong doing, but I still had to pay for it out of pocket, which I wasn’t expecting nor do I think is okay in the slightest.Services: Air conditioning

I’m always well satisfied with my experience at Paul’s. Justin got me in quickly and did what I needed done, and it was less than half of what it was at the dealers.Service: Auto maintenance

Jason the employee working this morning saved my day. I had gotten the run around and refusal to install a new battery from another box store chain auto store due to the complexity of accessing the battery under the hood in my vehicle. I then got pushed aside when trying to call my vehicle local dealer trying to get in this morning for a simple battery replacement. I was referred to Paul's Car Care Center. I called before driving over there to be assured the battery was available and that they could indeed change it for me. I was assured that I could be seen and they had the skill set to change the battery even though it was in a "complex location". When I arrived I was greeted by Jason and assured I could be helped quickly. It was great. I had a new battery in less than 25 minutes. I will definitely use this location over the dealer and other box auto repair store every time going forward.

These guys are great. I brought in my Jag F-Pace to discern why it was idling poorly. I pull up and, not gonna lie, this is NOT a fancy shop. But WHO CARES? Fancy shops mean higher costs. I need a working car, not an array of snacks in a room with leather furniture. I was happy to wait in the small, dirty waiting room knowing this wouldn't cost me a fortune. I got a same day appt, and when I asked questions, the manager was not afraid to say, "I'm not certain on that, let me check with my tech, he'll know for sure." Honestly sharing your lack of knowledge for the sake of giving me correct information? I'm literally in love. All in all, nice and knowledge folks in a hole-in-the-wall shop. Most importantly, NOT SCHEISTERS! Highly recommend.
