This location is amazing for any hiking near waterfalls. Brasstown Falls is near. If you enjoy hiking and don’t enjoy camping, I would recommend this place. Not very clean, but they try the bathhouse is OK. It is a place to brush your teeth. Wash your face definitely needs a little few upgrades. Little TLC would help, but staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again, fire pit is awesome. They do have live music there, but it does stop by 10.

The Gauge Coffee House

14239 Long Creek Highway, Long Creek

I love this coffee house! The community here is unlike anywhere else. Despite being from out of town, we felt welcomed in from the start, and we loved meeting some locals who shared their daily plans for rafting and adventuring. My husband loved the coffee cake (even ordered it twice!) and I was a huge fan of the bagels. Plus, the lattes were fantastic. They even carry oat milk (hallelujah!). This shop also sells some really cute merch, whitewater gear, local artist pictures and crafts, and everything you need for getting outdoors in Long Creek. This is a must visit!
