“Much better than what I expected. It's July 4th. they are short-staffed. I looked up at the menu and see the chicken sandwich meal. Okay, it's going to be 10 bucks with tax. No problem, McDonald's is as expensive now.
It seems like the skeleton Crew is firing on all cylinders, as I place my order. I handed the smiling cashier $11. Now let's see how long it takes for my food to be prepared.
Within 3 minutes my meal was handed to me. It's in a bright white paper bag. I can't give him high scores on the presentation on that. I would have rather gotten a tray being that I told them I was eating in.
However, after looking at the golden fries. Which looked delicious. I pulled a couple out of the bag. Started chewing on them. And to my delight they were crunchy on the outside, yet light and fluffy on the inside. very well done on the fries
As hungry as I was I hurriedly opened up the rapper that the chicken sandwich was placed in. As I always do with my sandwiches. I took the bun off to make sure they didn't put mayonnaise on the sandwich.
To my chagrin. Mayonnaise on the bun and on the chicken itself. Holy cow Batman! What am I going to do now. The thing was that I was so hungry, it was time to man up. I put the bun back on top. I took a big bite of that sandwich.
And I can't tell you how pleased I was chewing that crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside chicken sandwich.
I was very pleased.
Popeye proclaims that their sandwich is better than Chick-fil-A's. I don't agree with that. But I will say this, they are running neck and neck.

“On the drive home from Virginia from Florida, my daughter stated she had to use the restroom, and this Mobil happened to be at my next exit. I was fearful that it wouldn’t be open at 1AM, but to my surprise, it was, and even more so, it is so well kept! Right down to the restrooms, the cleanliness and organization of the store is phenomenal.”

“This is the kind of small rural gas station I grew up going to and dearly missed. Thrilled to stumble on it driving back home to NC from Florida, and will be sure to stop next time I'm driving through. The building may look a little rough from the outside but it's well cared for and I very much enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and fresh cookie I snagged for lunch.”
