“I love going to Ingles, but to get things I can't normally get nearby. Such as their kitchen, which has fresh made chicken, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese each day, which is a very affordable lunch for our little family. Also, their variety of nuts, candy, donuts, and cheese is pretty unique to other stores. While my kids are so young, we love the little shopping carts and the free fruit they allow kids to have while you shop. I give 4 stars because in general their shopping prices are too high and they are not my first choice for groceries.”

“I worked late Christmas eve and had no food in the house and was not on my side of town..they had early closing as employees could have time with family as we all deserve, but l would not have made it on time, to get closer to where l would normally shop. I knew what couple of things l needed to get would cost, well about what they would cost, and knew l had enough in my pocket so l didn't bother with bringing my wallet...when l got to checkout they were closing and not allowing people in the store as they were doing final checkout and not allowing reentry, but this cashier, helped me with a couple bucks so l wouldn't have to put anything back...this was surely Christmas spirit showing itself!! Now, l doubt that this was company policy, and lm not posting this so that it would become some sort of policy, that wouldn't make too much since...but a little bit of kindness goes a long way! I now have continued to shop at Publix, though this incident happened at Mauldin store, but it shoes that good companies and their practices, and the kindness of caring employees, helps communities like ours, and some if it's stars will shine, and bring new customers because someone took the time to be selfless and help and it says alot.”

“On an early morning visit to Aldi, after a visit with my barber. ALDI is another favorite store to shop in. There was a nice selection, fruit and veggies. A nice cheese and wine selection with plenty of flavors and brands. On my visit today, I only needed some lactose free milk and ended up with other items as well. For the money that you save Aldi is the place to visit.”
