Nastiest Goodwill I have ever been in!

I stopped by yesterday, Tuesday 01-23-24. I'd say it was hit or miss. If you need furniture pieces, there were actually some good deals that may require only some cleaning to the upholstery.I really just came to browse for unique pieces. I didn't really find any. I ended up buying three books. There seemed to be quite a few air fryers and Keurig machines.

I see a huge difference for the better in the Goodwill in Ben Sawyer Blvd. I noticed the wonderful change immediately when they changed their manager, I think the new manager’s name is Rick. Before I do not like going there because what they offer are the same old stuff and the manager is not approachable. Now, he turned the store 360, he’s nice to everybody, I see him talking to a lot of customers, he’s very approachable. I see that the employees like their boss too. Employees there work hard because they see their boss work hard. He seem to be a great role model to his employees. I have talked to employees there and asked what made the huge difference and all of them think that it is because of the good management of their new manager. Now, I go there almost everyday on my lunch break. It is so rare that I won’t buy anything when I go there. They always have new stuff displayed. It is very organized! Whatever the new manager is doing, it works! He deserves a promotion! GW heads you got a huge asset in your company, do not overlook it.

Pretty dirty and bad selection. I have been to several goodwills that were super clean and I felt comfortable in being in a fitting room, but not this store. Dust piles and other random crap was all over the floor. A random rack was also placed in the fitting room the worker opened for me, and took up most of the space.

Their hours on Yelp and google aren't accurate. They don't open until 10 am. Wish I knew that before driving all the way out here! That being said I was able to snag a few good finds. Even though they were putting out new inventory their shelves were still pretty bare.

I really looked through the entire store trying to find something interesting, or anything. I thought it would be more than or similar to what I'm used to with a big selection. At least the fitting rooms were open and was able to try on clothes. It just depends on what you're looking for because I only bought 1 item. I did like how the female cashier at the front welcomed every customer that walked in.

Nicest Goodwill I think I've ever been in. Prices are very low and much better than the store near me.

Good finds but it could have been more organized. Men's jeans were under the women's section.

I am very disappointed in the staff and the way they treat paying customers. Employees arguing with each other at the register and yelling while customers are standing in line. Staff yelling at you because you are looking at an item on the rack and stating "you cannot shop on the rack". This is NOT how you treat paying customer!!!

Shelves are bare. Just like all of the palmetto goodwills most of your free donations are being sold on line at goodwill palmetto. And on ebay at palmetto _goodwill. They sell the majority of electronics , video games, wedding dresses and formal clothes online. Most of the brand name shoes and clothing also never set foot in the store. If you really want to help by donating donate to your local church, or habitat.
