“Power Fitness is the best training experience I’ve ever had! I’ve been working out since I was young, and I can confidently say that PWR is on another level. The instructors are highly skilled, always paying close attention to form and making sure you’re doing exercises correctly. The atmosphere is welcoming, motivating, and full of positive energy, both from the trainers and the members.

The classes are incredibly well-structured, so you’re constantly improving and getting stronger. Since I started training here, I feel stronger than ever, and every session pushes me to new levels. “We had a fantastic experience at The Barre Code - Mount Pleasant! We attended a Brawl class here as part of my bachelorette weekend in Charleston. The studio was incredibly accommodating for our medium-sized group of mostly inexperienced attendees. They helped us schedule, made sure we were supported during the class, and even provided cute gifts for me as the bride! The workout itself was tough but fun. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone in the area looking for a new fitness experience or for any travelers looking for a fun activity!”

“I started going to HY/LO classes after joining Class Pass and honestly fell in love with it. The atmosphere is inviting and laid back. All of the instructors i've had so far have been helpful, motivating and overall positive. It's a great vibe, positive atmosphere and the workouts vary depending on your level of preferred intensity. I alternate between the HY and LO classes. The instructors push you in a way that helps you to get a truly great workout in. I'm impressed!”

“I have been going to Jazzercise now for almost 2 years. I have definitely improved my core strength. I did not even know my core was not strong. The classes are a breath of fresh air. You will find your favorite time to go. During the winter I go at 4:30 or 5:30 and during the summer I go at 8:15 or 9:15. Sometimes I can even go during lunch. Scared to exercise in front of people try the online classes.”

“Friendly staff, plenty of space on the weight floor and separate rooms here and there which come in handy for stretching out. However, I have twice been kicked out of a space by trainers who wanted their client to use it. The trainer I've worked with for years at my home gym never did this - we either reordered our planned exercises or adjusted our equipment choice.”

“I lifted at Vanguard while I was in town for a month. It was super easy to get a 1-month membership and accessing the facility was straight forward. Communication was very easy and response time was almost immediate. The gym itself was in fantastic condition, the aesthetics were an added bonus, and I found everything I needed with ease. All the members I met were helpful and kind. I really enjoyed my time here and was sad to leave!”

“The Post House Inn, nestled beneath Spanish moss in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant, was a wonderful setting for an anniversary getaway. The retro coastal interior inspired us to relax and leave our worries at the door. Our room was small but cozy, with thoughtful touches from a design and hospitality perspective, including two glasses of Prosecco waiting for us when we arrived. The room was surprisingly soundproof from the interior hallway, although we did catch some noise from the kitchen/dining room below in the morning. The bed was luxurious and we slept like babies with heavy drapes/shutters shielding us from the morning sunshine. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast basket left outside our door which contained hot coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, and muffins. We made use of the loaner bikes in the morning and enjoyed cruising down to Pitt Street bridge, located just about a mile away from the Inn. Our only less than stellar experience was brunch, which we felt was overpriced for what we ordered (~$50 for two breakfast entrees and one coffee), and was not included in the price of our stay. Overall, highly recommend a stay at the Post House Inn - just consider skipping brunch. We will be back! ”

He is patient and encouraging trainer and I highly recommend Thomas!!”

“Terrell works the front desk at 5am and is the best employee they have! He is always unlocking the door when the gym opens and greets everyone. then he ensures all the trash cans are emptied, weights organized, and does all this at 5am before and during the first people arriving. Guys like him make coming to this location a breeze and if you want to show up early and get your workout in and not feeling the motivation, seeing Terrell bust his butt at 5am to make sure we all have a good workout should be enough to get you going.”
